Clan War Rankings - Motivate participation
I have been playing Clan Wars for some time now and found it can be extremely difficult to motivate clan members to activly participate in wars and often experienced members loosing motivation as there is no incentive.
The game rewards seem biased towards the single one on one matches and not enough reward given to clan wars.
All the points and rankings are based solely around trophies, including the Clan Ranking, as a total of all members trophies. It would appear to me that the clans or a members effectiveness in wars bares no relation to a clans rank.
I think this is a flaw in the clan game concept as there is an inbalance in player insentive to actually try and win a war over concentrating solely on the individual battles.
I really think that a better method of both individual and clan ranking would motivate participation in clan wars.

My ideas are as follows:
Calculate a clans ranking by the clans effectiveness in war but with a bias towards veterans.
Base = losses against total: total wars ÷ ((total losses + 0.1) ÷ total wars) e.g. a clan partakes in 100 wars♥ but looses 50% of them: 100÷(50.1÷100)=199.60 or looses only 10%: 100÷(10.1÷100)=990.09 or partakes in 500 wars: 500÷(250÷500)=999.60.
Stars ranking = the sum of 'average stars per attack'
Destruction ranking = the sum of 'destruction average' ÷ total wars e.g. 5000÷100=50
Members ranking within the clan itself could be based on effectiveness at war using personal battles won ranking, star count or destruction rankins.
An individuals overall ranking could be a combination of trophies and stars, encouraging play with all aspects of the game.
However rankings based on stars or destruction could be ripe for abuse as highrr ranked members could choose to only attack lower ranked members of the enemy clan so something would have to be added to encourage attacking enemy members of a similar rank.
Also another insentive would be to offer some sort of bonus prize for reaching x number of wars won or number of stars won or the star differences between winner and looser. Also individual bonuses/awards for getting the most heroic attack/defence.
Clans could be split into leagues the same way Individuals are.
It would also be helpful for members to opt out of a war as the member might have other priorities (e.g. life beyond clan wars) and cannot participate for a period of time then the clan would be unfairly effected.
The way I see it its all a win win situation, everyone will benefit.
Anyway hope someone at Supercell sees this as I myself am getting a bit fed up with the lack of activity during clan wars and for me the game is loosing its appeal.
