Like your army comp Havoc and it makes sense to me. I used GiWiVa in low Champs to hit cores..used 6 Valks though. I have been running Giants, Wizards, archers with Valks and EQ to core 10's with a high success rate. Nio, and others thanks for all the info.
So I got to do a few queen walks and charges (I am still learning the difference)
The combination of GoViz and the walk seem pretty powerful. Hit my first 3 star vs an inactive CC. The queen took out an entire side of the base plus most of the core all by herself.
My first attempt was dismal tho 50%. My main force just didn't hit the core hard enough and so my attack became diluted.
Those who read this thread Alpha has been trying 3 healers on a group of giants and then swinging in on a 2nd point with a giant/valk/wiz attack. Seem some good results from it. The giants hold up extremely well under fire with 3 healers but have 6 healers would likely hurt your DPS too much

To those posting about the super queen, I have been converted!!
So my heros are finally maxed... unless the update adds more painful levels.
But anyway been subing a golem out for a queen and 4 healers. Bringing 2 rage spells in case they can't keep up on the healing front. I practiced with a tornado comp ready (just altering my strategies for bases weak against a walk.
Fired up some GoVaLo's with SQ and got a 99% in regular raiding (damn you time) and a smashing 79% on a maxed (aside from walls) base in war.
So I am going to try different adaptations of this to see what sorts of results I can get.

I am checking out the valkyrie tornado without the use of wizzies (only archers)..dunno if it is viable but I would use:
6 Valks
10 Giants
10 Wall breakers
2 Healers
rest archers
the comp takes up around 25 minutes of training time....will it also be good for farming gold/elix?

I just wanted to say thanks for this thread. I have been following it since I was a max th8 and am now a max defense and troops th9 with about 180 more lava walls, and heros (ugh) level 15 queen and level 12 king.
Anyway, I am #9 and the highest th9 in my clan and recently 3 starred the other clans highest th9 with govalo and quaking the walls. This was my first war back since the update (heroes were upgrading), and it was soooo nice having 3 elixer spells because I had 1 earthquake donated.
I also use the valk tornado for regular looting/raiding and have started to bring a few members of my clan to the dark side and use them more and more.

I use this comp for Gold/Elixir Farming...Any tips, please? I have a TH8 account but I'm struggling with using Valk Tornado/Valks n Giants, guides I see are for Th10s...Here's what I use:Quote:
