I myself have struggled with the hybrid attacks. I've had some success but have issues making it consistent. I plan to eventually practice lavaloonion and then go back to see if I can work out the kinks.

EDIT: wanted to add that it was a cleanup attack and I knew cc was almost all archer so I didnt even care to pull because valks dont give a damn about archer if you heal them.

I'm late th8, and at the point where I have a lot of spare resources, so I've been experimenting with valks. I got 2-3 stars on my first couple tries with this composition. I use 2 pekkas, 9 Valkyries, 10 wallbreakers, 12 wizards, and 7 hogs. On my first try the pekkas and valks cut the base in half very fast, then had to loop around and eventually were outflanked. I figured hogs could come in from the side while the main force destroys the center.
GoHoVaPe is a specialty of mine at Th10. It hits hard, paritcullary those bases with senctions of larger compartments and secitons of more compact compartments. Since your Th8 golems aren't 100% necessary - it just means you have to be extra careful with pathing. But with healing it should bring the pain all the same.Quote:
