3 Stars Clan Wars Attack Strategies

This thread is dedicated to posting 3 Stars Clan Wars attack replays.

Every base design is slightly different due to strength and location of defensive structures. The attack strategies used in these replays will give you a general idea of how to approach your attacks.

Before posting a new "How would you attack this base" thread, try checking this thread first or browse a larger collection of replays at https://www.3starsclanwars.com/. The advanced search page is very useful to find replays for specific Town Hall level attackers/defenders or troop level used. Just check the box of each category you're looking for and hit search.

Pretty nice 3 Star Clan War Attacks.
I watched all TH7 Balloonion/Dragon-Minion Attacks and no one have rage spells(i usually use rage spells on balloonion).Now,I think healing spell is better for air raids at TH7.Thank you!

Request: I'd like to see some TH7 going against maybe 8 or 9. Just for variety.

I rarely see lower THs 3 starring a higher THs. When a lower TH does 3 star a higher TH, it's usually a premature base. This is very misleading since all the defenses are actually a lower TH but the TH itself is upgraded.

Tip for your raid. You have a level 5 heal spell. That can do a lot of heal. Use it when your dragon's health or orange or low.

Is there any other th5 attack strategy without giants and wallbreakers? Other than BARCH.

Giants & Wall Breakers is the main attack strategy to 3 star for TH5. It's the most cost efficient method

Seems like a good strategy for TH6. If so, it's best to release the Giants and try to take out the AD first before releasing your Healers.

Thanks. The most dependable way to 3 star a TH9 is GoWiPe & GoWiWi or GoWiWiPe. Typically if you mess up, you still get at least 2 stars with these strategies. On some base designs, Hogging or some form of Hogs with supports troops will work. I'll add a Hog, Wizard, Witch TH9 vs TH9 replay shortly.

Yes. But make sure the BK isn't near by to absorb any damage from your lightning spells. Less structures around the AD the better. Check out this replay.

I have lvl 9 TH but l dont have witches yet. And plus my gollem and pekka is still in lvl 1. Could u please show another way to attck lvl 9 TH opponents and get 3★from it?

P/S. My max troops is 210. I usually used all dragons when comes to attack strong opponents but barely get 3★. Help me..

GoWiPe even with level 1 of each troop can do some damage on fairly new TH9's.

3 Level 3 Lightning can do it as long as there isn't too many structures surrounding the AD to absorb some of the lightning damage.

hey, i am a co leader in a clan and i put my second acc in the clan. The problem is that it is th6 and we are aways matched with th7-10. Do you have an attack strategy for me? i haven't healer yet and i have 135 housing space. i have everythink else then loons maxed and i want to at least get 50% in th7s, do you have an attack strategy? i forgot to say, i have lvl 4 lightining spell and lvl 2 healing.

Unfortunately TH6 vs TH7 is a very difficult matchup. TH6 have limited troop space and limited spells. We face this issue in our clan as well. Our TH6's haven't been able to 3 star a TH7 but, if you wanted to get 50%, Get level 6 balloons in cc and and your own balloons paired with heal can clear up one side the base pretty easily. Have some giants/archer/wiz and maybe some wall breakers to start cleaning up.

If the TH7 is premature or have ad's close to the edge, balloons can possibly 3 star.

Sometimes the base design will be very compact so 4 Level 5 hog riders can do some serious damage paired with heal spells.

this is currently my problem too. it seems unfair but i have no choice so i tried the easiest TH7 i can find, the one without any air def. i managed to get 96% before time ran out, would have been 100% if my wiz didn't hit spring trap..
