Town Hall 10 "The Compartment"

So this base here is called "The Compartment" Its a different type of farming base. Almpst every defense/building is enclosed by a wall until walls run out. Its and overall strong base that usually ensures full protection of all loot. Leave an opinion of yours if you would like! I will ignore hate/negativity :cool:

That's the whole point- that IS all you see. Here's my pointers:

1) Bad WT placement
2) Exposed bottom X-Bow
3) Grouped storages
4) Exposed AD placement
5) Most X-junctions I've seen in a base...

I don't mean to be rude or anything, but you need to accept criticism if you want to improve your future base designs. Good job at attempting though :)

Everything I was going to say Doku has. I suggest you stagger the walls, and insulting someone for giving constructive critiscm is just terrible. And BARCHers can't touch you? That's because you have disco infernos and they fry archers and barbs.

Looks like a bad TH7 base with outside giant bombs and Th10 weapons. All X junctions .... really? Definitely worse Th10 base I have ever seen.

Also you're saying to leave our opinions on your base, and we are doing what you're asking us to do, but you're just blasting your negativity on us. :(

Too much X-Junctions( Middle wall is broken, 4 compartments breached.)
VERY HOGGABLE
Too many defenses outside
Easily BARCH-ed for 50% or ★★ by smart attackers(TH9 below.)
Easily Mass-Dragon'ed
Loot easily stolen(Isn't a farming base's purpose is to defend your resources?)
Easily Rage-Jump Goblin'ed
Easily destroyed by TH10 army compositions such as GoWiPe, GoWiWi etc.
Bad point defense/Wizard Tower/Air Defense/X-Bow placement
I can list many more.

I'd suggest changing your base completely...

Alright everyone im sorry for overreacting! Its just after reading the first comment it didnt feel like constructive criticism...so forgive me and i will accept all opinion and hate now for overreacting

Not to be rude but this base isn't good.

One of the worst bases I've seen. As a TH 8, I'd steamroll through it. And whats up with those AD placements???

im atually in crystal 3 right now! but i actually just made a new base! haha im going to call it "The Black Out" Right Now it is 1-0 so hoping to reveal "The Black Out" in about a weak :) Thanks though man haha

TBH it's not a very strong base and I can see that as a TH6. Why don't you look at some of the strong TH10 bases out there and transfer some of the ideas to make a new base. If you look it up you'll probably find some things that make a base stronger and you'll probably eventually be able to make a strong base. Base design can be very difficult and usually takes vigorous testing to see if it is any good.

Also, to everyone who said that this base is the worst they've seen, give me 10 minutes and I'll make a worst one!

Dude this really made my night...thanks for taking the time to check it out and actually give some helpful feedback instead of acting like it complete trash..i mean its still a base someone made so respect it a bit? right? I didn't really criticise your work, I made suggestions of how you can teach yourself how to make very strong bases. But you have to remember, anything that people criticise about your base can be used to make a new base that fixes those problems. People say there are too many X junctions, you make a base with as few as possible, others say it's easy to hog, you add an anti-hog ring. Do that and you'll start to build up a strong base, people criticise it and then you make a new base, except you fix that criticism and make it even stronger. If you try hard enough you could become a great base designer, you just started off on the wrong foot. And don't worry, I just made a worse base then you, I'll make a thread and see if i can get people to use it and send screenshots of replays. :D

Batchers? If you mean barchers i bet $20 i could 1 star it(th is inside) 2 star if it isnt... Barch isnt something to protect against, but the other guy was 100% right on the flaws with this. There are way too many improper junctions

alright calm down. its definitely not a pushing base and its a weak farming base. i was just making random stuff one night and then all this happened

maybe you should make a different design . i think if you made a stronger defense things woulds turn out better (feedback)

Yes, you've made a new base already, and yes this old one may look like a piece of ♥♥♥♥... But I'd still like to give some feedback... I don't know, might probably have a chance... with a lot of alterations. Ideas are meant to be shared, ya know?

So, although this goes against the general rule of "X-junctions are a no-no," it has just a bit of potential... Stagger the walls a bit, make it much more robust. If anything, this must be a practice/test base.
Here are a bit of suggestions to make it better:

The Base: The title says it all. The "Compartment." The base doesn't need to live up to it's name. Being a mid-th9, compact compartments have brought me bad experiences. Space out the walls a bit more, and maybe 2/3 buildings per compartment...?

Defenses: Major defenses are exposed. Your bottom x bow could be switched with the inner mortar, in my opinion. Make the base a bit more spread out, as I'll explain later on.

Walls: See those bottom air defenses? Now take a look to the line of walls covering the top half of it. Swing that part w/ the walls covering AQ and BK outwards, compartmentalizing now three buildings. I'd suggest bringing in a point defense. Try this with the rest of the walls, and maybe... just maybe... compartmentalizing may be a success.

Storages: Very susceptible. Too close together for my liking. Gobs with Jump spells/heal can wipe 'em out quick, faster than your infernos can fry them. As said, stagger walls and make bigger spaces. By doing so, you can include trap giant bombs or other traps.

Traps: As said earlier, traps could be useful. What use are they when placed in predictable spots? I mean, of course they could be predictable when 2x2 spaces are in your base, but it'll be a bit harder for players to guess if it's a tesla or not. Use your imagination! If you can create bases like these, you should know trap placements!

Overall, it's a start. If you make the changes I've suggested, you may not want to call it "The Compartment" any more, lol. Without doubt, it's definitely not anti-hog, anti-dragon, or anti-GoWiWi. Try to improve this by bringing in AD closer, and wizard towers in more optimum places. This is meant to be a farming base, but people can attack you using these army compositions.

Anyways, I hope there will be a Version 2 of this, you have unique designs, they may be a bit weird, but at least they can inspire. Try incorporating your compartment idea to another famous anti-hog or anti-____ th10 base. Could be a success!

first of all it really means a lot that you would spend so much time on a full review for a sucky base! yea im not the most talented lol. maybe you should redesign this if you ever get bored? i mean you sound extremely experienced so if you gave it a shot it would probably be so strong with the adjustments! just thanks so much for the tips! :D see now you are the type of person that i can respect because you didn't just leave a one sentence hate comment like many others..THIS right here my friends is TRUE thoughtful constructive criticism! in the future i hope to add all of your improvements because i can always look back to this! so once again thanks man!!

Haha, yes, it was my pleasure! I'm not a big fan of negative comments, and I always think, then why not give positive comments to improve something? It's worth the chance, eh? And yes, with a few tweaks, a base like this could be adjusted so that it can defend properly. Many bases are underestimated, take this one for example. Who knows, it could become the new trend for CoC. It can become an illusion; it may look like a bad design, but when the attacker comes in, he might be in for a suprise...

Well, If you attack from the top with barch, you're going to lose, but that's all I can see about this base. Not much potential if you ask me.....
