Stop Cities with no resources showing up in attack searches

Why are Cities showing up in my attack searches with hardly any resources ?
Lots have less than 1000 and most have less than 50000 which is pointless as I use more elixer than that to train troops so I end up searching around 20 times per attack to find someone to attack, this wastes lots of gold
It is too hard to get elixer in this game as it is and needs to be fixed, you may have some of us buying it but that wont last for long as people like myself get fed up of not being able to farm enough to do research upgrades and will stop playing the game because it is a waste of money and not fun if you have to pay for every upgrade.
The point of the game is to attack people for resources and trophies and at the moment it is near impossible to get more than 1m elixerand it makes the game feel like a chore and takes the fun out of it.

Matchmaking doesn't take resources available, it's solely based on available villages +/- a set number of trophies from your own.

If the folks near your own trophy level are below your own Town Hall level, where the loot penalty is kicking in, or they simply have spent all their resources or have very little to raid, you will likely need to adjust your trophy level to find an area with more similar Town Halls. It can only present resources that matchable players have.

Lol, what a funny demand. Hard to get elixir? My my, who are my storages always overflowing with them.

if you would take a look at your fan page on facebook you would see that lots of players are complaining they can not get enough resources after the last update and lots are quitting. The fact that amounts with less than 1000 and an average of 40000 are showing up around 1400 trophies all the time is pathetic and something needs to be done to improve this.
Friends in my clan at a higher trophy range are having the same problems finding enough resources and get the same results as me in their searches.
I spent money every payday on this game but I think it is time to quit because the only way to get enough resources to upgrade troops now is to use gems and I refuse to pay for every update.
Learn from the mistake of kabam with their game Dragons of Atlantis they lots millions of players after an update on the game that killed the gameplay.The last update has made farming harder than it was before when it was too hard as it was already.

Resources available to loot is based on resources the village you're attacking has to their name. Right after every update, people spend all their resources on upgrades, usually before they logoff, so anyone attacking them gets very little resources. If I raid all day or night to start an upgrade with both (or all 3) resources, and I log off with 7k of each, what are you going to raid? That is before a TH difference penalty.

What TH level are you at 1400 cups? 5-6-7? or are you TH 8-9 dropping to 1400 and expecting to find 200k every battle?

I hear what you're saying, but I too have been playing since August, and EVERY update it takes 1-2 weeks after where people have reasonable resources in their villages unless you are in a trophy range with your peers where there is no TH penalty, and your peers are saving up for bigger updates as well.

It's not SC's fault if you lack skill. I spend less than 30k elixir on every raid and get at least triple of that in return. Why would I need to buy them if there's plenty? You can take a look at my base and see the troops there. Get a calculator too. I always stay in 1300-1900 cups. I had trouble last week finding loot in 1900 but that's because I noticed that most villages I go to search are th9 who have spent their resources on lvl7 teslas, wizard towers and clan castles, so I had difficulty finding gold and gradually went down to find a sweeter spot. But elixir? Nope, not much, since only the lvl 4 DB uses elixir from the update. I've updated mine and used 4 million elixir and the next day I have 2 million again I earned from raid.

They are complaining because something very simple has occured that they aren't thinking of. Ever since the update, leagues give you a more rewarding bonus to the higher trophies. So logically most of the good players that have the potential to be raided of many resources go high up into trophies to get the better bonuses, while the ones that are incapable of reaching that high or just simply don't want to stay where they are. You need to go even higher in trophies, when you think you're at a good level, take it up fifty or a hundred more.

I'm also experiencing the hardship of obtaining resources on attacks but i'm slowly going up the ranks untill I find a decent position. People are always going to complain on things that make things harder, that's life, but you just have to live through it.

Also, if they stopped showing "cities" with next to no resources then people that get there before you will empty them, give them a shield, and then you're back to square one.

My storages are almost always 4 million out of 4 million. Elixir is really easy to farm, especially considering camps, barracks, and upgrades are the only thing they are used for :)
