Something to prevent DE sniping with Lightning Spell...

I hate this so much, Im unable to get past 20k-ish DE cuz as soon as I hit this mark I get sniped by low-lvls all the time.

My first idea was to add a defensive Lightning Rod spell that you can place on a building and the prevents all Spell damage to it for one attack round.

My second idea was to add a Lightning Rod mode to Teslas. If you switch to this mode they won't attack anything but only absorb any damage from Lightning Spell in a 3-4 tile radius.

No clue if this idea was borught up before but Im so furious atm I think this issue needs to be addressed somehow...

Another thread complaining about zapping.
To make myself clear, I 100% support zapping and I dislike any idea that nerfs it.

Zapping DE storage isn't even cost efficient. If someone somehow manages to zap up to 1ks of DE from you, chances are you have high level drills that can produce it back.

Just give them a taste of their own medicine and revenge zap their DE.

I thought an upgrade to the elixir storage that attaches a lightning rod to it which directs the electricity straight to the ground leaving the storage unharmed by lightning. HOWEVER, too many people support zapping. It's unfortunate, since the game is based on strategy and there is nothing strategic about standing back and letting a spell do the work.

Not to sound rude, but... you have lots of things to do already to help with this.

1. Upgrade storages.

2. Go higher in trophies.

3. If it's so good, do it yourself. You should be able to make back what you lost easily.

I am currently around 1700-1900 trophies, usually with 50k-100k dark elixir. Lightning spells have been used on my dark elixir storage probably once this week. So 2k TOPS. What is the problem with that? Isn't it better than them stealing all your gold, elixir, and dark elixir by using a more proficient army?

They may not take a lot per attack, BUT they usually pick off exposed collectors/mines and drop all of their lightning spells. Which means there is no chance of a shield. So, let's say you get attacked multiple times in a row by zappers. They can easily drain your storages. THAT is what makes this worse than a full attack. My storages have been halved in one night by zappers.

Better yet, revenge and 100% them when they have full storages.

Put your TH outside. If someone zapped me they usually take the TH too so I get a shield
