I think the troops donated to other castles during war prep time should count towards donation totals. I spend a small fortune on being the only guy with maxed out troops in my clan and filling up the castles for each war. We war literally every 48 hours and i donate on average 250 troops each prep time that i get neither exp points for nor credited donations in the donation total category.
So your generosity comes without Altruism? When I noticed i wasn't getting credit for my War donations I thought. "Oh. OK." and sent more Vals and Minions to help protect my Allies villages.
I still donate since i wanna win wars but maybe it would help motivate the chumps in clans who use that as a deterrent not to donate. If i spend a million elixir every war on donations and get barely half that back in loot i can't really complain too much if barely anyone donates castle troops since its a losing proposition from the start.
Sure it would be nice to have it count, But I don't donate for Acheivements, I donate to improve the chances to win!

Im with you on that but i am at a point where donations are my only way of income for experience points. Wall upgrades don't get you EXP and with all buildings maxed donating is the only way to level up. I don't care about the achievement although they too could use an overhaul but that's a completely different thread. I think the highest achievement is for donating 25000 troops or something which would take me between 4 to 5 donation periods to make it back there over and over.Quote:
