It isn't logical at all.
Maximizing profits is what it is all about. Hay Day has sales because it doesn't have the volume of users or interest level that CoC has.

If the only reason you are still playing is because you spent money, doesn't the move storages + collectors comment make a lot of sense?
I don't understand why you would continue to play something that you no longer enjoy. You can always make more money, you can't get back your time. Spend your time doing something you like.
Steve, Im not going to summarize the entire thread for you. However, the two posts directly below you are a good starting point. If you dont/didnt plan on reading what we have to say, why bother coming in with that long generic statement acting as if you did? Actually scratch that, I will summarize the thread for you, here goes: This update is nothing more than supercell slowly beginning to shove gems down our throats. And I hope you dont misconstrue my words, Steve, or anyone else at supercell. I enjoy this game but I, as well as many others, dont like the direction its heading. Good day to you Steve :)
I disagree hon. Extremely lucrative businesses that produce MMO's do have sales. Popular PC MMORPG game businesses have the perennial subscriber discount promos & sales on special in game pets etc to gain even customers You are stating the obvious and I'm stating a fact. I said a business making millions could if they wanted to as an appreciation player promotion, which would "entice" even more people to buy gems. Have you actually played other MMO's? At least once a year, usually holiday time (sometimes not), they have specials to reel even more people.
Supercell is riding a gravy train. They have chosen not to do this or even comment on the possibility, so it's actual possibility remains to be seen.
I never said anything about lowering the gem price permanently. I said a one day sale. Heck, I would be happy with a 6-12 hour sale
I believe they walk the fine line perfectly. They realize that there are issues and like the mods/admins already stated, it takes months for them to respond accordingly. They won't just revert back to pre-update because of complainers. They will maintain their course while trying to find a happy medium.
Regarding their profits. Yes, they are a successful company and I am a firm believer in capitalism and hard work being rewarded. If they become bazillionaires then good for them. It doesn't affect my bottom line and has the potential of keeping this game alive that much longer.
To be honest, I haven't played any other MMO's but I do understand business. If you have something ppl want and will pay exorbitant prices for, you don't voluntarily reduce your income. Only reason to do so is because sales are faltering or not quite as robust as expected. Supercell has seen nothing but ridiculous returns on this game, in my opinion fueled by the discount gem sites that are now all but extinct. So I again do not understand why you think they'd voluntarily cut their own income. But hey, just my opinion.
Stalker, all I see are hidden posts because you are still on ignore lol.
