Wasted Troops???Not any more ..

Sometimes we do not always focus on the COC for busy working or doing something and every time we visit our town always minus 500,000 elexer, very accruing. The troops, also waits for long time just to make them and when we attack and win the battle we usually Even More troops left it will disappear .. I suggest that if we attack and hopefully win theremaining troops will return to the base so that iwt will use again to attaCK FOR THE NEXT BATTLE ..LESs time and save more elexer ..thankyou ..

If you will read the stickies, your idea has already been suggested and may be taken into consideration in future (that means it was not ruled out). There is no point in keep suggesting the things which are already listed in the sticky topics.

It would not be a point for him to suggest it again. But the more people who come here and say, "Let my troops come home." the quicker the DEVs may give us what we are clambering for.:cool:

This is true, just look at the upgrade a row of walls feature:)

A long time but I would see at least three threads a day suggesting it. The funny thing is that feature is pretty much useless to me but it's nice not to see all those threads anymore lol

This is a game of STRATEGY not drop everything and hope for the best...that is why we have control of how many troops we drop and where... Zerging a base to use an old EQ term isnt the objective, try to best a base with what you have and losing as little troops as possible is the name of the game.

Strategically, you are most assured victory by fielding 3:1 force superiority. Or is real Military combat strategy. not good enough for a game? Victory through superior firepower is not just a slogan.:cool:

Another idea for not wasting troops in battle: don't deploy more than you need.


At first it seems logical that troops that don't die would return to your base, but then when you start thinking about it, this means you no longer have to be strategic and avoid overkill, and a lot of players would just deploy their entire army every time. Moreover, players would start making armies of PEKKAs and dragons and such, and keep sending them up against lower level bases, so most of their army stays alive and they can keep using the same troops over and over. Not only would it make it far too easy to use high level troops multiple times while only paying for them once, but it would also reduce time between attacks, which would mean there would be less bases to pick from in the raiding pool. Not to mention that it's a bit unfair to lower level players.


Someone mentioned in a similar thread (this is requested quite often) that the troops you have left disappear into elixir, kind of like how troops that die on your base become gravestones that you collect elixir from. I'm not sure if this is true or how much you get, but this is more sensible than letting your troops go back to base.
