Fix Android and facebook connectivity

I use android Smart phone and i am unable to connect to facebook.

Now please dont say that use these methods to connect to facebook,:mad::mad::mad: i have tried everything including reinstalling the app after force stopping both the hayday app and fb app. (Note- i have both updated)

I have complained earlier 5424313 ticket and was told that it may be fixed and they would tell the developers my suggestion for giving android players at least more free slots in shop, was told it would be suggested to developers and if they found it was great they would include it in the next update and even after new update of bees nothing changed. I had to use diamonds to get those additional slots.

I complained again 5938955 ticket and was told as follows
"I certainly understand your concern that your are unable to open new slot logging to Facebook is still not fixed I am really sorry to know that you are still having problems connecting to Facebook as I understand how frustrating this can be. Since this issue with Facebook requires their developers assistance too, it is currently an ongoing investigation.

This could take a while, but rest assured that if they find a solution to your problem, a fix will be released in the game as soon as possible. So there is no need to reopen this ticket at this time. I genuinely appreciate your patience as we try our best to resolve this issue as soon as possible."

Both tickets were closed and the problem still remains:( without getting fixed.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

If u cannot fix the problem then remove the facebook button for all android users but no u want that so u can get those likes by the users.

Instead of getting new items like bees and stuff fix this problem first then go for others as u can get android users facebook friends also to probably join the game and expand your user base it would be a winwin scenario for both users and Supercell.

Glad news. I have solved the Facebook connection problem.
I did the following steps and when I tried after that, I could connect properly.
1. Go to Facebook ON DESKTOP BROWSER and open Hay Day app page.
2. Click on PLAY GAME or SEND GAME TO YOUR MOBILE.
3. Open Facebook app from Android device and you will find a notification. Tap the notification and it takes you to Play Store.
4. Open the app from Play Store and check your seting, and voila! It will be connected. ;)

I solved it by myself. THe Hay Day team was too busy updating the game to notice bugs.

I see. That's what I did and it worked for me. Maybe you could try doing the things Hay Day support says and then try my method. Because it works for me and also my friends. Try removing the game from your Facebook. Then add the game again. I don't understand why it worked for me and not for you...

It seems to be a consistent bug for most (if not all) players from India. A tough one and Hay Day team is still looking into it.

If you have already sent it to mobile, try this.

The first step is to remove the app from your Facebook through BROWSER. Delete Hay Day from your phone. Completely remove Hay Day from Facebook. Figure out how! Then go to the Hay Day game page and click "Send to Mobile". Check your Android Facebook App for a notification that redirects you to the Play Store. Download the game and try logging in to Facebook. I hope it works.:confused:

I'm from India, meonhoc! :) And I have been constantly sending e-mails to Hay Day support and I've been getting replies and assurances that the problem would be resolved in one of the coming updates. I believe this problem is not something that can be resolved from your end. Indeed, I'm no expert and you'll know better if it is a bug from your end. I'm pretty sure what I did should solve this issue for all those Indians who face the same, as it worked for me. I can post a screenshot if you would like.
Just one request. Please look into this. I have almost solved it, probably without even knowing what I did. However, I've told you exactly what I did and you'll maybe direct other people who face this issue. :)
P.S. I'm not implying you are not working hard enough. I'm just saying maybe you should look into what solved it in my case and maybe that will give you some leads. You guys are amazing. Or should I say, A-MOO-ZING!

For some reason, I concluded Meonhoc is a mod, which he/she isn't! I hope some mod reads this thread.

Hi manificient, I wasn't sure hence my post.

As you are interested for some test, maybe you could have came across this thread as well where Hay Day were trying to collect more data and understand the cause of the problem.

Your method has been provided, it worked for some, not for others. Some player made another FB account and it worked.

As long as the cause is unknown, it will be hard to fix the problem once and for all. I do hope the problem get solved quickly, it's all beneficial for both side.

PS: you seem to mistake me for a Supercell developer or employee which I am not :).

Thanks for ur support which is way more than Supercell support which this post lacks. No supercell employee has so far made an attempt to solve the problem after the post.

I made the following attempts
1 went to facebook on desktop and from there removed hayday from the settings and removed the app from fb account
2 Uninstalled hay day from mobile
3 went to hayday site and requested for send to mobile
4 hay day installation app opened from google play
5 installed the app from google play.
6 tried to conect to facebook from hay day.

:(But nothing happened earlier the button "connect to facebook" did nothing, nw it atleast says it is connecting. This happened to me earlier as i said i tried all methods so far. even uninstalling and reinstalling.

The button re-pops and it remains the same - "connect to facebook". Nothing changed tried twice to connect to fb could have tried for a third but the server maintenance kicked in and as per supercell its going to be a long one.


Note i am from India.

If the problem can be solved ok! otherwise atleast add some slots in road side shop as they cost 5 diamonds each and i have already spent 25 for them and i still find they are less slots for me. Those who have FB attached have slots by the dozens.:mad::mad:
we are being neglected and since the bugs or mistakes are on your part its your responsibility to take action, while other players are having fb attached to the game chat with their friends and trade freely we cannot.
