Your on to something and you should continue to let supercell know about this. Its a smart idea
It's a smart idea, however Supercell wont do it. They make all their money from people buying Gems to quicken build times and get more resources. They wont add a feature that makes waiting for upgrades more reasonable because they rely on the frustrating wait to pressure you into buying Gems.
they have unfortunately ruled this out :(
i think its because SC might lose money from something like this
