Well I talking about zapping when u are not farming DE. I farm DE 2 days per week, 5 days of normal farming for walls. This zapps help me to still farm 15k DE per day even if I don't farm DE with my army. It's like bonus DE (that's why i zapping i hope that you understand it) :) But there is a lot of different opinions, everybody has different opinions about waste of elixir or not :) For me is good ;) And i promoting it, it's your decision if you will use it or not :) gl

As I said. Zapping is good if you are using BAM or BArch army. GiBArch don't need any lightings (maybe 1 for killing CC troops). And exactly the same thing as i said to Mike.

nice post. Well documented.

As for upgrading heroes at great speed, here is my input and experience:

from now to July, there is roughly 24 weeks. So if your queen is only 16, this means that you will need to upgrade her back to back for the next 24 weeks (7 days upgrade time capped) :) And at the same time upgrade your king 2/3 of the times also.

It's feasible to gather around 100k DE for a week to upgrade your queen back-to-back. But as to gather 180k to upgrade both your king and you queen in a week ... that's a bit hard.

As a maxed TH9, you might be able to do well in war with one hero upgrading. How well do you do with both upgrading?

Let me just say that as a TH10, this is a lot harder.

We have 3 TH10 in our clan and if two of them are upgrading a hero during the same war, we lose 2-4 stars easily. In some case that is the difference between a win and a lost.

At some point you will have to chose between winning wars and upgrading your heroes. Mine are only 19-20 because I upgrade only each couple of weeks so I can have them for wars (twice a week).

No considering also troop donation during war. Each war it cost me around 20k DE (hogs, witches, golem). So add that 40k to you 180k needed to upgrade your heroes every week.

Anyway, you will see when you get to TH10. Upgrading golem to 5, lava hound to 2, minions to 6. You will see that your DE will go faster than it will come

Good luck and great work on your walls. I still have level 7 walls by the way :p

Hmm interesting. I was thinking about this yesterday, about heroes in war. I failed massive attack on 48 % without heroes, no stars. Of course heroes are big thing in game, with them you are 50% stronger especially if they are high level.
We are playing wars 10vs10. My friend in clan is very solid, he help me with donating DE troops. I donate baloons at most, witches in war CC's. So I think that I spend around 10k DE per war.

Most of all i considering about staying on th9 and max my heroes (to 30). And then as th10 first finish queen to 40 and once she will be max i will upgrade king to 40. This I think is the best method + I will max my troops in lab in that time. Especially i don't think that I can farm 170K+ DE for last few leves in only 3 days and a half for keeping heroes under upgrade non stop. I mean there are other resources and priorities too, not just heroes.

In wars i attacking with LavaLoonion. Lavas going to 2 right now, then i will put golem right to lvl4.

And of course against infernos i don't have any chances without heroes to make 3 stars, especially in 10vs10 CW's . Every star is very important.

U put me in dillema now haha. And tnx for advice.

But if i upgrade th earlier, then i got infernos, put them right to lvl 3. Then I can focus on DE only. Its a lot of options here what to do. I don't want to sit on full storages all the time as th9, thats not for me :)
But as you said I must choose. Wars or heroes:confused:
I will decide soon i still have time, but right now i think that i will choose heroes. I can war with lvl 40 heroes :D

To both the OP and Ash, I would really watch what you think is an original idea. For example, the "multi-dimensional attack" in Ash's thread is not a unique idea - in fact, Daddy has a youtube video from May 2014 that describes this exact same process and why it works (not saying he is the originator, but it is evidence of other people describing the effect of using air and ground troops, melee and ranged, to take down wizard towers). I haven't seen him or any other person really credited in anyone's thread, and perhaps you figured it out for yourself as well, but that doesn't necessarily make the idea original or not. Fact is, most of these farming techniques have likely all been done and expressed in threads long since buried, or youtube videos, so talking about plagiarism, originality, etc. is just going to be a no-go when it comes to these types of troop comps.

I think we can all take a key note from Hulk's HoloWiWi thread and youtube videos. Everyone talks about hulk as the originator of HoLoWiWi, but he has been humble enough to state that he did not invent it, that people have been doing it, and he just wanted to take the time and document the strategy in his famous war attacks thread. I appreciate the efforts that both of you have done to document your journey on de farming, but let's just leave it at that and not start thinking these threads are journalistic publications of completely novel methods. If anything, they are summary articles of many other people's work over the years with a slight personal "diary"-esque spin.

Of course there was players before who has been on journey like this. Of course there is a lot of players which trying or already tried different attacking strategies by mixing different army compositions.
But as you said they didn't put this on forum, they kept it for themselves. I would say that ( for example ) me,Ash, Hulk want to share our knowledge with other players around the world.

Hulk is focus on HoLoWiWi for example, but behind this he hiding his own journey ;)

Ash has tried and he done well his guides for DE farming, but he become popular and of course he making his thread better and better.

Here is not all about plagiarism. We all know that let's say in this thread is no plagiarism, it's only one picture which reminds peoples on Ash's journey that's all :) All other points of thread are mine ideas :)

I wasn't referring to any of my farming strategies or methods. I was referring to the format of the thread (the way he presents his information), which is awfully similar to my thread. And of course I understand that the OP used my thread as a basis for writing and presenting his information in a similar fashion, but no hint of credit was given.

What's worse is that he had created this thread at an earlier date than mine. And the original format of this thread was completely different and lacked this amount of information. He edited and reformatted it recently using my thread as a basis for improving the aesthetics of his post. And that hurts the credibility of my thread not only because there was no credit given to me, but also because this thread was created at an earlier date (but edited), which makes me look like I took the ideas of creating my thread and the way I present things from this thread. So you can see where I'm coming from with this.

That's why I tried to maturely and kindly ask the OP to use a different, more original format for presenting his information. So to not make my thread look like a "copy cat" version of his thread, vice versa. But instead I get insulted perhaps due to a misunderstanding?

I mentioned many times that I was inspired by Brandon's awe-inspiring journey and thread and have used my thread as a basis for that. I have used a different format of presenting most of my information to make my thread look more original: banner, table of contents, youtube video guides, efficient army compositions and methods, charts, and I can go on and on...

So I'm simply requested that you give credit or at least change that banner or else people are just going to think that your thread is a "rip off" version of mine (or vice versa). Thank you.
