I think there should be a button for all members of the clan "Ready For War" or "Sit Out War". The members who press "Ready For War" will be the only ones going into war.

I think there should be a button for all members of the clan "Ready For War" or "Sit Out War". The members who press "Ready For War" will be the only ones going into war.
This would be unfair for players in different timezones.
It's 24 hours for a reason and that won't change.
I don't think they mean "start the war early" button but rather a way for members to exclude themselves from the war, which is suggested quite often here. I could be wrong though.
What i mean is the button is for members to let the leaders know if they are ready to go to war or wanting to sit out the next war. So when a previous war is over, the button appears "Ready For War" and "Sit Out War". You can press it anytime. Whoever presses "Ready For War" they have a sword symbol next to their names and whoever presses "Sit Out War" has zZz symbol next to their names. Symbols will be shown in clan chat. So instead of asking who's ready for war in clan chat this button will make it easier for everyone i think. Just an idea that might make it easier for the leaders :)

Not everyone wants to war... doesn't mean they should have to leave their clan every 2 days before another war is started.... Why is it so hard to just make a button that Grey's out their own war shield over their rank number and does not put them in the next war.
Kind of like when someone is already in a war and joins another clan... they have the Grey shield saying eligible for war in <insert time remaining here>
Why can't Supercell make a button that Grey's out that same war shield when someone doesn't want to participate in the next clan war?
Maybe if enough people suggest this they will change it. I hate having to kick people because sometimes they have gud reasons for missing wars, but may not be low enough on trophies to be excluded. So I definately hope supercell listens and try that out!
This is good so that the ones who press "ready for war" go into war. So the ones who are inactive, are saving for loot, etc will not be participating.
Though it took Supercell a while to warm up to the idea, from what I understand they are working on implementing something along these lines.
Yes, it is a very often requested and much-needed feature--the only real question is whether it is under the control of the individual, the clan leaders, or both.
I am happy to hear they are taking this idea in :) Everyone cannot participate in war sometimes and i totally understand that. Maybe if you sitout there's a penalty of 50,000 gold or something...Quote:
