Surrender/except buttons for leaders

Id say if clan surrenders, each person must pay from their own loot the amount of loot their opposing person would have won had they gotten a chance to attack. For each attack not used.

so if you are #6 in you clan and available loot is 175k/175k/900, if you surrender, you pay that to the #6 of the opposing clan. If you haven't been attacked at all, two attacks available, that number doubles. If you've been attacked twice, you owe nothing.

Clans should not be able to surrender.

Good clans (or even bad clans with a few good players) do their best no matter the odds, and try to learn something from stronger opponents. It would annoy players on both sides if they were deprived of the opportunity to attack.

Another issue is that SC only tracks wins, so pathetic clans (see below) could just quit whenever they felt they had a tough opponent, allowing them to get several wins a week by exploiting the matchmaking system (waiting for a mismatch in their favor, and either fighting it out, or hoping their opponent surrenders).

Typically, any decent clan war will have every single th8 and below base 3-starred and the winner is determined by how the top holds out. There is only so much you can do when your target is a town hall level higher.

Nice idea, but if that player has no resources available, what then?

Rather fix the root cause and not a symptom. The real issue is poor war Clan matching. We need to fix this algorithm

I am not convinced of this. EVERY war i have fought in, around 80, should have been a win for my clan. The one thing the algorithm will never be able to calculate, is the individual players "war craft" I have seen a th 10 player get 30% v an opponent a th7 player got 50% from. Some clans are filled with good players, most are filled with rubbish.
