I'm the highest level player in my clan. When I'm inactive, I don't have time for Clash or Clan Wars. The problem is that I become a burden to the clan when I don't play my Clan War attacks. At this point I'm planning on dropping my clan to resolve the issue.
I really wish there was a Sit out of Clan Wars feature that could exclude me from future Clan Wars, so that I don't have to leave the clan.
Any other thoughts?
I purpose a surrender/axcept button for each leader in the war. Face it things aernt always fare/equal in the wars. So if one party says surrender its pending the accept from the other clan. The accepting clan should have a chance to plunder as see fit then except. What do you think
To finish this thought that way your clan doesnt have the 48 hours of just being ideal. Get on with next war
The ability to sit out of clan wars has been proposed a few times, but SC has been resistant to adopt such a feature because (paraphrasing) they feel that CW's should be team / clan efforts. What they don't understand is that being a good team / clan member is the very reason why there should be a way to exempt yourself from the war - why should you have to leave your CoC family on occasions when you are unable to participate? My guess is SC thinks that they'll loose gems because folks might not "gem" things done as much so they can participate in war, and maybe that would be the case. I'm not hating on SC for wanting to earn cash - that is the point of business. What I think they are missing, tho, is CW's are what are holding a lot of folks in the game, and when folks get tired of having to constantly quit / rejoin in the case of not being able to participate a percentage might just wind up leaving the game altogether.
I like the "surrender" feature also - never ran across that one b4.
We can already sit out of wars, get kicked or leave. Better yet, join 1 of the many clans that think CoC is a chat app and not a war game, then you never have to worry again.

Hushdatnoise, technically, that's not sitting out. I like your idea of joining a clan that doesn't play Clan Wars, however, I do play Clan Wars when I have the time. Also, I'm in a clan with family and friends, where I'd like to remain.
You can't have it both ways. You either want to be in a full time war clan, or you don't. Not expect SC to change things to accommodate you.
Silly argument. Yes, with such a feature, I could have it "both ways," and it wouldn't just accommodate me, but everyone that can't spend 100% of their time on this game. Who says you get to dictate what features we can and cannot have?Quote:
