Reduce the cost of searching for an enemy as you keep searching

My suggestion is that as you carry on searching for an opponent, the cost for searching reduces progressively as stated below:

Town Hall Level	Current Cost/search	Reduction of the cost/search
1	10	0 coins reduction/search
2	50	0 coins reduction/search
3	75	0 coins reduction/search
4	110	0 coins reduction/search
5	170	0 coins reduction/search
6	250	1 coins reduction/search
7	380	1 coins reduction/search
8	580	1 coins reduction/search
9	750	2 coins reduction/search
10	1000	2 coins reduction/search

For example right now I am at town hall 9 (1830 trophies right now) and today I literally spent around 100k gold without finding anything good; I don't know if that's due to any recent update in the game but anyway..

So since I am at town hall 9 right now:

20 searches cost me, without my idea: 15.000 Gold (still 750 coins/search at 20th search).
20 searches would cost me, with my idea: 14.620 Gold (712 coins/search at 20th search).

Maybe you would say.. 380 gold? who cares about it? Well.. it will get reduced even more as you carry on searching; and also in time you will save a lot from this, without knowing or noticing.

Please let me know what you think about this, and also tell me if you have suggestions for different amounts of coins being reduced/search. I think I chose some pretty decent ones, not to make the searching too cheap but to still change it a bit.

I like the idea. Probably a bit more than 1 gold per search though.

TH6 and TH7 should definitely have only one coin reduced, but for TH8.. it should be 1.5 coins but I doubt that is possible. Two coins for TH8 is too much tho, so that's why I put one coin there.
Unless 1.5 is possible ad at first search it takes 1 and second it takes 2.. then I can only suggest for TH8 a 1 coin reduction, sorry :(

Thank you for your opinion.. it is painful for me as a th9 so I can only imagine the th10..

I have not rushed at all. Th8 and below was fun. I'm burnt out . I spend 10-30 mins just looking for ONE base w/ enough loot to cover my butt. I boost my barracks to try and get more loot,to no avail. Still only get 4 matches in two hours. I spend all day pushing. Dropping. pushing, dropping. To find loot. Its so hard to find. And I can't spend that much time for 100k. I'm sick of playing. I'm stuck where I'm at. Used to have all 5 builders busy. Now I'm lucky if I have one.

Great idea! Nexting costs way too much.

Id say even more of a reduction though, i know supercell needs to make money but this is a very fair point.

I think a fair reduction for th 9 would be -3 gold/ search. And th 10 would be -4 gold/search

I wouldn't go lower than the numbers I suggested, because currently with my suggestion, a TH10 would pay 0 coins/search after 500 searches (250k gold spent). So after spending 250k gold on searches I think the user deserves to pay 0 coins, because it is unlikely that he will get more than 300k gold.. so after spending around one hour on nexting I think 50k gold profit is a fair win.
Even if Supercell would take this idea in consideration I doubt they would go with more than I suggested.

I don't see the problem in this. Supercell doesn't really gain that much revenue from the "next" button, so it doesn't make sense that it costs a lot over time...

The problem is that most of the times we get to spend more than we actually gain. It is not that Supercell gets something from this, more than that, I think they lose from it since people get frustrated and quit.
By the way, nobody said they get any revenue from nexting, I don't know where you took that from.

You only spend 100k looking for loot? Lucky. I spent 700k the other day and am approaching the same again today. I am TH 8 and can never manage to make due/break even. Sometimes I spend all 6 hours (before the "7 minutes of panic") trying to find a fight, only to find 1-5 if lucky or if even that (I shouldn't have to constantly play daily for long periods of time to begin with!). Then I immediately get attacked (within a minute) when the game boots me and I lose all the loot/trophies anyway in one single blow. I guess I went too far in my league? I worked so hard though I don't want to have to turn back now :(
It keeps giving me bases that are too tough/well defended that have barely any loot (under 100k every base I see) and/or little amount of trophies for winning. 3/4 of the bases I have seen so far in the past 5 hours have offered 50k resources and 17 trophies (I would gain 6 trophies if I even manage to 1 star, and lose a ton of elixir worth of troops trying anyway. The amount it took to find the fight is scholastic anyway so in the end I am losing).

+1 for putting in the effort to do the calculations of when the next would reach 0 and thinking of the implications of your idea etc.

Well personally I don't really like the idea. There are plenty of bases with plenty of loot to take. The whole point of there being a cost to next is so people don't next or they have to spend more to find the base they want. You keep meeting because you are not satisfied with the loot in the bases. Therefore you have to spend more. Personally I wouldn't want this implemented. Keep posting though!

Thank you for your opinion, it's actually good to have somebody to actually explain the reason they accept/decline the suggestion.
I obviously posted this suggestion because I struggle sometimes to find a good base and spend pretty much amounts of gold just by hitting next, sometimes the loot doesn't even make it for the win. Anyway, thanks again.
