I rather you place the wizard towers inside the base to defend the storages, it defends better than the lone tesla, it can kill groups of low tier troops which probably is common at your TH level.

You see those 2 cannons between the mortars and infront of the elixir storages?
Switch them with your wizard towers, this way the wizard towers can protect the elixir/gold storages, depending on which you value more.
Mate if someone brakes one hole in middle they can get all resources add more segmentation

The plan requires polishing but the structural is there, perhaps you could try something like that, it worked for me while going to TH8.
Don't worry too much about elixir, if you're a player who enjoys maxing everything before going to the next TH, I assure you, you will have more than enough elixir at the end to spare.
well, actually i was just trying to get to TH8 so i had the extra walls. and then doing a bit of reading, just upgrading the TH will make it harder in the long run. and that maxing the lv req first makes it a bit easier. but mine or the one you showed me can work either way?? and i should be good yes??Quote:

If you're staying at TH7, you can use your layout, just mix the gold and elixir storages with the mortars so it is harder to get all resources. Usually if I see such bases, I tend to avoid them as it may be more costly for me to attack and not earn the full amount of loot I could get.
I fully recommend and strongly suggest you to stay and max all at TH7 first, TH7 like what others would agree with me, is a sweet spot for farmers, they could get a 50% bonus loot from raiding TH9 (2 TH levels higher) and 10% more from TH8, and at the same time, they could get 90% from TH6, which is good because they are alot of places they can farm from, especially when you're trying to earn from premature-TH's of any level, TH6,TH7,TH8,TH9. I could explain further to emphasize my point if you like.
The extra 50 walls won't do much help if you are going to have a problem farming and catching up at TH8 with the premature towers and walls, rather its the upgrades that are going to save your ♥♥♥. A level 5 mortar from TH7 is your lifesaver, they could kill level 5 archers in a single hit, and level 6 archers won't even bother raiding you for 50% loot unless economy is really.. really that bad. A level 4 WT at TH7 is good too, can kill goblins and archers in 2 hits.
The holes are for teslas or giant bombs. Definitely not to be wasted, and make sure they can't spawn in it either.
yeah im going to stay at the level im at now so i can max out and then upgrade to TH8... no i understand what you mean. and yeah i know what you mean about having to catch up... im in the process of that because i prematurely upgraded to TH7 and granted i have mostly lv6 walls, and some lv7 walls... but with the layout i have now... i needed some help so i can at least keep the gold. considering its more gold that i need than elixer.Quote:

Yes, like that, you got it right, I am not sure if your side-by-side mortars will get struck down by dual lightning spells but if they do, just switch one with the storage beside. Anti-air is a little exposed as well, there is almost no way you can do safeguard them without sacrificing your storages, what I suggest is you keep your trophy at the minimal, not above 1250, and place spring traps at the surrounding anti-air walls outside. If you're afraid of losing your resources, keep a builder free to spend it on walls, 75k for a purple wall isn't that expensive at all considering you may even go into dark purple ones once your defences are all done.
Since the loot percentage has dropped to 20%, as long as your gold stays low considering that it takes 1m gold to reach the max loot of 198k from storages, you should be safe if you keep a small amount with you.
im actually working on dark purple walls... 200k is alot... but im taking the break from that to build up my other defenses... my current trophies is at 1009. so just try to stay above 1k you would say??Quote:
