I work a full time job and don't play clash that often, just in my spare time and every now and then. I never boost my barracks as I don't have the time. The loot I'm finding has been erratic but I've found some good bases recently. It's nearly exactly how it's been since the loot update last December. And lots of people on here agree.

yet most don't agree and they think the loot is bad. So if some think it's good and others think it's bad, what's the deal? The issue with the forums is - we only see people posting about bad loot. Never anyone about good loot. It's like writing a review - you only really write a review when it's bad, it sticks in your mind a lot.

keep hunting for the loot. It's there. I'm a th9 in crystal 3 right now and am finding some loot after 20-40k worth of nexting, and sometimes it takes 100-200k worth but I know eventually I'm going to make a net profit.

But please, before you complain again, do some number crunching. Actually show something rather than "ugh loot is awful" because it does NOTHING for the forums and Supercell laugh at you. They have all the data from this game, odds are they know exactly how much loot is being stolen at each town hall level. They're not worth billions for nothing.

And don't insult people out of anger. It just makes you look immature and no-one takes you seriously.

(For varying values of I) I'm playing Plants vs. Zombies. I have completed all the levels, minigames, puzzles, and survival challenges, and I've earned every achievement. I have nothing left to do in the game and am bored so therefore it's a horrible game that deserves one star. Oh yeah, and everyone who hasn't reached that level yet has no right to complain that PvZ just isn't fun anymore because they don't know what it's like to be at that level. (not)

Let's refrain from use of the words "permanently broken," please. It may not be fun at TH9+ but Clash is not ruined.

Created a new game. Arbitrarily pick a number between 1 and 100. Hit 'next' those many times and you HAVE to attack that base whether it be good or bad. Or... If you find a good one in the meantime - hit that... It's not going so well for me. 😕

Loot isn't that bad, you just need to adjust and get on, doesn't seem like anything is really being done to make it better though.

People said the exact same thing after the hero update. Guess what? The complaining stopped and life went on. The complainers make up less than 5% of the clash population and they are still the top-grossing app in the app store.

I don't see how the loot is bad. Over a week I've made 65 skulls and I'm sitting in 31,000 DE. I don't attack on mornings, don't play for like 10 hours and when I come home I spend like 3 hours playing while doing other stuff. Again, I don't see how the loot is bad.

How can you say loot is bad?
I got 10 lv8 walls today with 200k/200k collector raids, yea I'm a th8 but there'd still be decent loot as a th9

How exactly did you farm 65 skulls in 7 days at 3 hrs a day. 65skulls=32.5mil
7*3=21hrs so thats 32 mil in about a day of play time ???

Loot is much better I think. Very bad following the update but then it was expected to be so. I feel that a lot of people feel heroes are relevant again and are saving DE so I am very happy with this.

As for elixir and gold I have started seeing more and more bases breaking the 100K barrier. This is good news!! I just need to work on getting it!

By pink walls you mean lego walls right? As it takes a minimum of 1.5 million elixir in storages to make attacking it with a big army come close to breaking even.

If your answer is to wait for everyone to have lego walls for the elixir to come back, i don't know what to say...

Attacked each 20 minutes for 400k or 200k raids for 3 to 4 hours in a week. At least 10 walls every day I would say.

I have a TH10 in my clan with maxed defences except for archer towers and he has no problem with loot. His storages are always full. And no, he does not gem. His GG is somewhere around 800m and EE 1billion. You guys are so mad and stuff but I can't seem to find a reason to be. Just relax. My friend also complained in clan chat once about bad loot but he did it like this "can't find any good raids =(((" and that's all. take it easy.

That's interesting, i continuously find solid 4 digit DE raids. In C3 too. Tempted to head up to M3 though to give it a whirl.

If you cannot find the big hauls. Reduce your army cost and go for smaller gains. Cowboy up!

Why you would want to use said high level troops that you spent 18 months farming to get is beyond me...you can't expect to break even on a 300k army.

What is a big army?

And is the 1.5 million for any town hall or a specific one? That's 210k available from th8, 180k from th9 and 150k from TH 10.

All th 8 plus in my clan currently of 40 members is complaining of poor loot. This is not just a few complaining its 50 % of my clan! If 50% of my clan or 100 % of th8+ members then in all likelihood most th8 + people are having this issue. supercell need to introduce more resource generation into the game.

Really short sighted and the problem is that they will probably never go back on this. Quick fixes will be released and probably not work. There are many armies comparable to the costs of barch. And TheMariofan has an excellent point. Ya' know it makes people factor risk reward when raiding.

Now yes I am - had some nice raids since the update. Had a few 2K DE raids too in the last 24 hours (ones I could actually get at ie not surrounded by max infernos. I just think that DE fell out of fashion for a bit.... but now its back.. and soon to be collecting in my storages.

I have no issues with loot. I never have to search for more than a couple minutes--I look for 150k of at least 1 resource that is easy to get.

They ain't fixing it bruh. Decide if you like the game now that you know. It's still fun for what it is, it's just a secondary game now.

I cannot speak for a TH10 because I don't know how it is for that level(I'm a TH9). I find that the loot if fine. Since the update I have not had any problems with finding Gold, Lix or DE. My builders have been busy since then, and I always have a couple mill in each, and around 20k for DE. Yet people still continue to snipe me instead.

Majority of the complaints won't out weight (landslide) to people are pretty happy with the game the way it is.

Hopefully they come with an update making loot better. I was finding good loot for a few days but it's back to dry.

By then all the TH4-5-6's will all be TH7-8-9's dumping resources into walls. And the current ones will move up TH lvls, unlocking higher walls to dump resources into.

There's plenty of loot... even for all the complainers and nay-sayers, they just don't have the patience or skills to get it... that or they don't know they should be at a different trophy level... find a more optimum trophy level and get your rake out cause you'll need it to rake all that juicy loot in!!

Patience people. Learn, adapt, evolve, and have patience... or else put your collectors and storages on the outside of your walls when you quit the game!!

True story. Here is thing the though, those people will not be 'dumping' nearly as much and over a prolonged period of time like they are currently doing. Right now they can dump a raid or two at a time, this will change with higher level walls.

Those th 4-5-6-7-8 will be dumping while they are raking in all that "sweet juicy you got it easy at your town hall level" loot. Unlike now when you have preemie th9-10 'dumping' loot (mainly lix) into 6+ walls trying to catch up to the rest of us. Once those low level wall high town halls are done with their walls, things will likely get better.

tl;dr Preemie's are draining the system at the moment and this practice will have an end. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

How can EVERYONE here make their available loot to be as low as 50k/50k.

Meaning over 200k gold and over 200k elixir each raid, like I did in Silver League 3.
I just upgraded my TownHall and I don't have much gold, for the upgrades after the TownHall is finished upgrading.
So
Do you guys know any leagues that have Great, Easy Loot?

First, only th7 and higher can dump elixir into walls. Needs to be lvl7 wall at 200k a pop.

Second, a premmie going to upgrade to lvl7 walls will suck out 50 mil. Lvl8 walls will suck out 125 mil. For premmies raiding casually it will take a long, long time for them.

Third, max bases like me will be even more unraidable. Since I will have no reason to carry over 3 million of either gold or elixir. For guys working lvl9 walls they hang around with nothing more then a mil in stores. Offering less then 100/100 on a raid.

Fourth, high end th9s can do the same thing. Hang around and suck gold and elixir into walls. Before their was pressure to move on to the next th level, because you were throwing away elixir. Now, a max th9 can sit around carrying no more then a mil gold/elixir until Legos are done. Unraidable for all intents!

Sounds like fun for COC!

Either they are dumping everything into walls, or they're doing huge raiding sessions (have a few of those in my clan) and spending it before they log off. Otherwise you end up being this guy:

Nobody wants to be that guy. After gaining 85 trophies but losing 1M elixir overnight Saturday, I dumped everything into walls; as soon as I get another 1M, it goes into walls. Nobody attacks me anymore. ;)

I haven't been farming as much recently (because I've been upgrading one dark barrack at a time, and farming down a rack is a pain), but loot for me hasn't been that bad around 2100+ cups.

I am definitely nexting more because there are so many bases with under 75K gold, even up in Crystal. Seems that loot distribution has really become bifurcated, with lots of sub-75K gold bases, and a sprinkling of bases with 200K+ gold. Not sure why there are so few bases with 75K-200K gold. But more nexting means more gold vanishing from the system.

Nevertheless, I have noticed that I am upgrading walls much faster, with fewer hours played (because I can throw elixir into walls).

It wouldn't surprise me if SC deliberately wanted people to next more (to siphon gold out of the system), to counter-balance people from farming walls too quickly with elixir/gold. :p

I'm between 1900 and 2100 and my experience mirrors yours. I'm moving along nicely as a 3 week old th9 and whilst I next more, I'm using lix on walls and saving my gold for def upgrades.

Dude, the loot is fine. People are so used to using GoWiPe for 400K that they can't accept BARCHING consistantly now. It's really easy, and yesterday I had 3/4 Wiz Towers upgrading at once! (The 1st finished today though)

Loot today is very good for me, all my raids are 250k+ from each resource plus at least 2000 DE, and even had a raid with 500k gold in collectors. I use barch to raid inactives and or storages with help of aq to get half the loot in storages

What trophey range are you farming?

I am a th 10 with allmost 1m gold grab. I only have 5 canons and 5 archer towers to complete th10 upgrade. Before this dry spell I used to average over 4m gold a day. I used to switch between barching and loonian. I am now averaging 1.5m a day. Today was a new low, just broke 1m. Considering my mines produced over 250k today, I only farmed 750k. SC does not seem to care whether their game is playable anymore. Seriously thinking of quitting if things do not improve soon.

Very nice!

I'm hoping for a good raid session when I get home from work. The pre work raids were a little dry but I did a few easy core barches as well as finding 1 loaded abandoned base.

Maybe because i have a bad troop lvl so I can't farm properly, but my clan's mate help me by filling my CC with high lvl troop, it help me a lot and even i keep asking for more CC troop they keep providing

I am early th8, just upgrade my wizard, it work like a charm

If you can't farm properly, maybe you don't have the correct troop level or combination

So it help to have a good clan's mate to help you fill your CC so you can farm to upgrade your troop

Barching is still the cost effective way of farming for loot

And be patience with the nexting, I know, I always nexting to the 50+ times, I have seen Xmod, and it will do the same, but u loose the village with th outside that can be used to climb the trophies

So patience guys, nexting a lot, the loot is there, u just have to keep faith in your nexting

from what i am reading, the th10 that complain are the players that usually get more than 3million a day and mostly max their def right?

the last two months or so loot has been terrible, I find myself nexting for far to long sometimes burning 100k or more in fees. I've went from averaging around 200 attacks a season to around 50 attacks primarily since Ive started only attacking right before my shield goes down.

On a side note I was a player that boosted my rax, spells and hereos pretty regularly but lately I've stopped that all together so as far as I'm concerned coc is losing money. I can't be the only one whose play habits have changed due to lack of loot available. It's time to up the collector levels and start really putting some resources into the system.

If loot is great, it means fewer active players.

Heck, I averaged 300 attacks before the loot went to hell. I'm averaging 70 or so per season now.... Good job, sc.

A big army is loons, minions, dragons, golems wiz pekkas etc...

Even the cheapest "big army" uses 4-5 spells , making it 200k elixir plus to as much as 400-500k for overpriced gowipe or mass dragon army

And either th9 or th10 are the targets. TH8 and lower are easily crushed with simple armies..

Lol, yes I have spent months upgrading spells, heros and top tier troops! My armies can crush base after base. But in the end, I can only afford - barch.....

I miss the fun big attacks. It is just a pain to save the elixir for them

As a recent TH 10 @ 1900 trophies, I have spent the last week looting and nothing.. NOTHING at all..... 20 k, 30k, 60 k...... 😡
You make us fall in luv with the game and then you do this.... The only game I used to play and now I just feel like quitting ... Way to go SC..

I miss lots of it....what I find interesting is that people are williing to settle t less although they paid for the full service.

Over all the complaints you hear these guys saying they are nexting past 400k/400k/3k bases with frequency. Sounds like that would cover your costs for those OP armies. What am I missing?

Before. The update I was getting back to the game and was able to upgrade pretty good my defenses, but after the update I can spend 200k and still don't find anything good.
Why we have to depend on inactive players to find good loots as always the loot available calculation is way wrong. This is getting boring again, I raised my trophies up to 2,500 with level 5 troops and it become nearly impossible to continue, and yet still the loot was very bad. To win a mere 50% you need to spend lots of elixir that you don't recover. What's the point of this game?? I don't really understand in which direction they are going.
The actual loot calculation benefits the inactive players, not the active ones.
Loosing more resources means that you will find more resources as well.
Not sitting at low trophy rage and wait weeks to save the collectors resources to upgrade something.

As I said this benefit the inactive ones, not the ones playing or trying to play

firstly - for gold this is already happening and has been for some time - once everything is maxed Gold is dumped as soon as enough is required.

secondly I doubt people will acquire the exact amount of elixir that they need and dump it in walls at TH9+ . 2 reasons a) according to the various posts on the forum there is a elixir drought.
b) We need elixir to build an army. Considering that there are complaints that collector raids are rapidly disappearing we need a buffer zone of elixir.
c) we need gold to next - particularly if we are looking for collector bases when we have just up used up all our elixir

I appreciate it depends on the base and your trophy level but you don't need to use so many spells with balloons

Over the last 8 days i have now netted 4.1 mil gold; that's including the 1-gem boosts/maintenance breaks. I didnt get attacked besides TH snipes... It was all lost to Next'ing. I did not participate in Wars because elixer is scarce.

in 7 more days i can start my next Arch tower upgrade.

Im th9 in 1500-2000 trophy range. Im finding bare loot 300k+. Just yesterday i built 4teslas 2xbows since i dropped down

I'm not really complaining cause I still get enough loot for my upgrades. I farmed 40M gold since the update and was able to upgrade 5 AT's to lvl13. Maybe just look for the league that suits you.

I just nexted 150k tonight and made about 500k G thanks to 1 abandoned base saving me. I think I'll keep my shield once I get it. Farming at 2000 cups.

The crisis has eased a bit for me the last few days.

It is far from perfect but the game hasn't been as unplayable as it has been.

I am so excited by the constant barching and the inability to use other troop combinations at TH8 because of low elixir availability that I pre-ordered Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor recently. I don't know if I will be able to play Clash much after it arrives. Barching all the time is just sooooooooooooo much fun ;)

That said, the loot has definitely improved in the last couple of days for me. If it improves more, I will be able to use Giant Healer again!

I've been saying that for weeks.

Spent last 3 months barching in m2, didnt find a problem.
My wife asked me to attack for her while she was out, a TH10 around 2000, and boy did i hammer that next.
Sorry to all those that have suffered that recently, i just didnt know about it.

Yeah sc doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥. Now I'm playing star wars commander and plunder pirates which are much better clones.

If you can't farm properly, maybe you don't have the correct troop level or combination

So it help to have a good clan's mate to help you fill your CC so you can farm to upgrade your troop

Barching is still the cost effective way of farming for loot

And be patience with the nexting, I know, I always nexting to the 50+ times, I have seen Xmod, and it will do the same, but u loose the village with th outside that can be used to climb the trophies

So patience guys, nexting a lot, the loot is there, u just have to keep faith in your nexting

It's exactly because you're early th8 that the loot is good. I didn't mean to call those th8 and below as noobs but honestly, the loot for th9 and th 10 is far worse than loot in th 8. So if you're in th 8 and you have a loot problem it's odd, but if you're th9 and th 10 and not having loot problem, you're lucky. I'm saying this because when I was th 8 the loot was fine, but since I upgrade my th 9 I've been trying really hard not to break my ipad when nexting
