We are the kids? I'm pretty sure kids are the ones who decide to create a separate thread, when there is a sticky at the top designed for this very type of thread.
And again, you used 'many of us', it's not that much. Majority are having no problem at all.
If we are he minority, then how are millions of Clashers advancing every day, and raking in millions.
from YouTubers, to Clan Replays and achievement viewing, it's clear to see the economy is currently fine for the majority.
EDIT: Can't see the door.
On this forum, to my knoledge, no SC employee has ever stated that inactives are removed from the queue, after any lenght of time. The ToS states that SC reserves the right to delete an account after 180 days of inactivity, however, they have also stated that no base has been deleted for this reason.
Looks they have already fixed it?
A week ago I was in gold I League, ♥♥♥♥ loot there, all below 100k.. Now im at crystal II League and got nice loot. 300k+ many of them there :) I have a th10.
A member of my clan got yesterday a loot with 730k gold, 750k elixer, and around 5k dark. He is th10 and in Crystal I.
They are merging the loot threads into one giant mess :p
1.) Deleting an account has nothing to do with removing inactive bases from the search queue or reducing the possibility of finding an inactive base.
2.) The storage loot has been far less since the update for me, but the number of inactive bases increases. You find less bases with good loot, but those are even better. There are some possibilies for that:
.) I simply next more often
.) There are many Players that have quit because of the horrible loot (especially the new ths that do not have the new troops yet or Players that are not so experienced with farming)
.) Supercell is pushing in the inactive bases to compensate for less storage loot.
Maybe it a combination of those three factors, but you can clearly see that the loot shifts away from storage loot to mine loot and you should adjust your army. Only Giant/mages or giant/archers is not so good. Mix in greater amounts of goblins and barbarians to Keep your costs and build time down while having it easier to farm mines.
Supercell has stated over and over again that they will make any changes necessary after careful consideration.
They also think of the game in the long term not the short term.
So in conclusion.
It's gonna take time
A whole lot of precious time
It's gonna take patience and time, ummm
To do it, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it,
To do it right child

I would insult you but you are not worth the insult.
just mean....wrong and the loot is so bad huh? Ik i th8 so u gonna bring me down for that but just becuase u are having terrible time don't mean everyone is....so just go cry in the corner of your room. And don't be mean to people just because they are enjoying the game and enjoying loot....and you are not.
Cut the cost of nexting to a max of 200 per next. I'm a th 9 and finding it a drag a lot of the time. Spending as much or more time on the forum as clashing
Loot is fine for me and some of my clanmates. It's not fine for the OP and others in my clan. Beyond that, any other wide-reaching statements about loot are pure speculation. If someone wants to go into the loot thread and tally up everyone who has commented on it, that would be slightly more insightful, but that's still a very small sample size relative to the overall clash population, and, crucially, is self-sampled and thus is not representative of clash as a whole.
A better question, OP, would have been "Supercell, are you going to make any changes to increase loot in the near-to-mid future?" That would've gotten the answer you wanted without creating all the controversy that your wild assumptions did.
Thanks to all for keeping me quite amused. All the best. : )
I know why they make new threads... Because nobody reads the sticky...including mods. Its to sweep the problem under the rug to make it look like there is no problem.
30 million downloads opposed to 1300 complaints, of which contains multiple complaints from forumers such as yourself, is an adaquate comparison.
The silent majority are typically overshadowed by the vocal minority in their attempts to further their self proclaimed views.
How many of those 30 million downloads are active players? How many have the problem, but don't post about it? There are far too many unknown variables, but I would say that a lot of the people who take the time to read and contribute on this forum are regular, active and knowledgeable players and for so many of them to raise the same issue must surely consititute a problem of some sort.
Simply because people complain an issue it does not make. People are already starting to forget about it and going back to the good old DE zap complaint threads, are you saying that is a major issue too considering the amount of threads made on it? People will always find something to complain about and SC knows they will never make everyone happy. You also give way too much credit to people that post on forums, don't assume anything.
I haven't had too much trouble with loot, for those saying there is not elixir due to wall upgrades, I have NEVER spent elixir on walls yet, I currently have around 5.25 million and am saving for giants level 6, I lounge in Silver I and tend to get a good match after around 30 odd nexts. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you spend ages, this was exactly the same pre-update.
screenshot pls fanboy? cos i travel from gold 3 and now at crystal 2, n im not playing raid, im playing NEXT. this clearly not clash of clan when im raiding for 3minutes,then NEXTING for 30minutes. i cant continue doing my lvl 9 wall at all. last time i read SC said something like - make it more easier to do wall, to economy bla bla bla?
again, pls, screenshot. show the minority who got trouble with loot that majority th9&th10 make tons every hour raiding. and doing their lvl 9 wall right now.
pardon my english.its my 3rd language.
This app sure has made a fuss.
Anyways, please subscribe to AppSquadCentral if you enjoy the content! 👍
damn..i read some people talk about loot but im still waiting for screenshot..their raiding log & their base..really tempting to haillll to them.. so lucky,so knowledgeable, god of raiding!
next one who want to talk about loot is good, just show proof. simple as that. i will then NEVER post here again and publicly admit im sooooo wrong. loot is good.
damn im so angry right now. after a week, everyday boosting barrack n spell, n im play nexting not raiding. sssssshhhhhtttt
^^Same as above^^
I wouldn't mind getting loot for free. But Supercell would, which is why I say that only half, or a quarter regens. Or just don't let the traps regen.
that would be op :P I would attack Sherbet Towers million times lol :D
I swear you're a TH8.
(This guy used to be in my clan, didn't attack in clan wars because he was "saving up elixir to unlock hogs" (pre-update)(just to show him I then farmed the elixir required in a couple of hours ) and then we booted him. He's in my game centre, so I'll post a pic.)
Anyone thinking of having him in your clan, I wouldn't. He gives people one troop so they can't fit the requested troop (usually a dragon) in their clan castle. Guess why he needs a clan?
I have played games that had a diminishing return on regen treasures and XP. SO that the players were forced to move on.
There just isn't enough Coin/Elixirs in the PvE side of the game, and the pay wall is fairly low. Although IF you are patient, I know a player who is around 50th level only playing the PvE. He even collected a nice stash of Trophies from BEING attacked and defending Apparently:eek:!
As all loot on Sherbet Towers can be looted with farming armies.
What we really could use is some more challenging campaigns, these campaigns are basically all TH8 bases, more or less.
True I finished the campaign at th7
Ive barch 3 starred every goblin base.. That would be WAY too op if it regened because even if it was once a day i could do a 6 hour farm session them while on shield raid the goblins with barch for around 2m gold in a half hour period
There are vast number of guys like me who are casual th10 gemmers (or even th9) buying monthly gems of $20/50/etc (I personally know quite a few) who just love playing this game.. I play this game cause it takes my mind of other worldly pressures... (I am 40 & I dont mind paying for it, to enhance the enjoyment of the game, not to just buy off def & offense) many play for different reasons...
I have grown my town gradually & since some time buy gems just to boost thing here & there.. gem troops for donating to friends in clan etc... I have max defense & max troops (except the lava thingy) & I still love to attack & slowly doing my walls...
All I ask from SC is make things right so that Elixir is just enough for me to keep playing... cause without elixir, army spells, donations war all get affected... I have farmed enough to reach a level where I dont like the Barching or similar attacks as it would be very boring to play that way for me now... I love using loons mins & similar attack on heavy th10's & getting ahead this way, but even before this wall / elix equation came around, to break even an army cost was a task.. I see now that the last couple of days 1 gem boost is doing no good either In finding good elix targets easily... ( which has never happened before in boost periods...) I request to to please reverse this elixir / walls update...
thats all, nothing else needed to be changed..atleast bring the hard to find elix targets back, not asking for great elix loots... cause off all the things I boost, the game would no longer be fun if I had to boost for making army itself..
I look for minimum 300k elix targets & only then attack, since that leaves me with some margin of error in the attack..
PS: try diff troops, do Barching, I am finding great elixir loots, or even the loon min guys without spells etc guys please spare this thread... good for you though...thanks
Yeah im spending around $25 a month to boost my heroes and sf
however i dont think anything should he done with the loot or gem prices, only thing id like would be 3 hour boosts. I found that the higher you are the more loot you find, im farming 5m+ gold a day and 3m ish elix a day no issues at m2-m1
Asking for 300k minimum is asking for great loots. Lower your army cost
You must be new to clash. The game is built around exhausting your efforts and pocket change. That's why.
nice, my highest is a little over 1.5 million of both combined
You assume, yet I see max defense 10s in gold and crystal so not so sure about that
yes thats true, thanks
but I have moved down recently just to avoid doing full attacks & use less elix thus (since I cant break even in masters with full armies)... I was looking forward to go to champions & stay there but this walls = elix has messed up the equation badly... cause even guys in my similar position have got an outlet for elixir..
@Xlcblx : you see if I control my donations / war efforts & remain low in trops then its no problem making elix, since pressure of spells is less.. but a decent army with spells will need 250/300k elix break even... if you attack a mid to high TH10..
@241m: yes cause they may be like me, falling short of elix at higher trops...
@Xlcblx: like I said, Barchers please excuse... & good luck to your barching...
ok dint see your reply...
well exactly... so In an active war clan as SC dont give us an option for opt out, means they want all of us to war... so then seriously this elix = wall update has to be reversed to at least bring back some decency...
plus the unfair match - making is cause big drains on elix.. My clan lost 2/3 wars straight , damaging elix reserves badly, so now since last 3 wars (which have 80% th10 & all chinese opponents, well developed) we have been skipping the wars...
The association fallacy is why people are posting pics and testimony as arguments against bad loot, it is easy to disprove the argument by doing so.
Association fallacy.
You are a clasher.
You are not finding loot.
Therefore, all clashers are not finding loot.
Fallacious.
Also fallacious is the argument that many believing or echoing a statement makes it true.
Supercell has the data and they want the most people possible enjoying their game under their rules. Have faith.
For those asking for next accountability supporting good loot. Here ya go. Enjoy!
* There is a typo in the vid. Should be 63k not 603k.
And the same goes for people claiming there is no loot problem and posting pics and testimony as their argument, it is easy to disprove the argument by doing so.
Association fallacy.
You are a clasher.
You are finding good loot.
Therefore, all clashers are finding good loot.
Fallacious.
yes exactly, I am not even saying I wanna use a tier 3 army & hope to break even, but simple giants wiz or loons min & spells is not too much to ask for to break even... (which is a reasonable 250/300k approx) which was easy to do before the combination of wall = elix & the X bunny (popularity) took over...
since SC cant do anything about the bunny atleast do about what they can...
If loot gets boosted, I don't think it will help the economy much as people will still dump the excess into walls, making raiding even that much harder and all the bases still being low on loot. Walls will go up even faster, making even barching harder, compounding the problem we have now.
So.... Cheapen the cost of building troops across the board and the cost of nexting without increasing the the overall loot would have a better impact on the economy....imo.
Discuss.
My argument is not that loot is good for every clasher, loot is not bad for all clashers.
Doesn't need to prove loot is good. It only needs to disprove the assertions that everyone is experiencing this.
You say loot is bad for everyone.
I say here is a pic showing loot is not bad.
You are wrong.
You say everyone nexts to much.
I post a video showing minimal nexting.
You are wrong.
Point if you want your point to get across stop using fallacious arguments as evidence.
Next...;)
Watch the vid they are not dead bases. :P
Next....;)
*p.s. Supercell is a Finish company. The correct word would be Fanittaja. TY!
Why not both?
Uhmmm are you really complaining about collector boosting? what is the forums coming to...
No fixing of troop or spell cost required at this time. game is good.
Whats the point in giving evidence when such evidence is so readily dismissed by those who have trouble seeing beyond their nose. Further, and other than the typical rant, I have yet to see any evidence showing how bad loot is percieved to be. I wonder why that is?
Yes, the 30 million figure is an assumption as SC has never released the exact numbers, however it was read from a reputable source some months ago, allowing for that figure to have increased substantially. And to preempt your comment regarding the source, if I'm not mistaken, it was a Forbes article, not from Wikipedia.
Now, I will admittedly assume that you're implying the 1300 complaints in this thread are of a factual nature rather than personal and possibly embelished observation. That these complaints should be considered over the millions of active players who have no complaint, and that SC's data is irrivelant when compaired to this thread.
I will attempt to refrain from further replies in this thread, as the flimsly brick wall is forever bolstered by its creators.
i really thought it would have been a lot worse after the last update, but i still find that if I sit down to do a good farming session in the right range I can still pull a decent amounts. The boost are just a nice gift from the powers that be lol. I personally think the next big thing for the economy will be new pump and mine levels but I don't see that coming until we get a th11.
As far as you seeing loot sucking i suggest you try some new farming ranges that you may not have tried heavily before.
Making nexting cheaper will only make things worse. The Problem at the Moment is not the Gold you spend on nexting, but the time. It is simply not fun nexting 100 times for each attack to get one big raid. Also it would be unfair because users with faster devices will benefit more from it.
It doesn't matter what the number is of current active players. Just because every single active player does not use the forums - it does not mean that the majority of current active players are not experiencing a problem with low available resources.
Again, you are making assumptions.
Then just delete the forum and be done with it. Since people posting is such a small portion of the total player base. Who cares what 1300 posters think out of 30 million.
Might as well just ignore every poll you see in real life too. I mean honestly, how can the views of a few people actually reflect the views of an entire nation........
I've noticed a dip in it but have adapted, but I'm tired of all the loot sucks threads and offering alternative ways and discussion. If it stays the way it is now I will live and press on.
It does matter what the numbers are. SC has the data to support whether or not there is a problem. SC's inaction supports the arguments against overall bad loot based on those numbers.
SC want's you to enjoy the game. Have faith.
Next...;)
The 'polling' of the forums is not a scientific poll unlike the polls you reference.
The polling of the forums is also not indicative of the clash community as a whole. There are greatly under represented portions of the clashing population.
Next...;)
Could this game stand on it's own two feet if there were hypothetically no inactive bases in the game? If the answer is no then I think you have a loot problem.
Since it is mainly the lower level walls (lvl 8 and below) that most people dump excess resources into, I still think the idea of giving a discount on bulk wall upgrading (at the lower levels such as level 6 or 7 walls where walls only cost 75k-200k) would encourage people to save up resources in their storages instead of dumping it every time they got an extra 200k or 500k.
More resources sitting in storages = better loot for raids.
For instance, a 5% discount for bulk upgrading 10 or more walls at a time would mean you would save 100k (or 200k with a 10% discount) on every 10 walls. But you'd have to save up 2 million gold or 2 million elixir to pay for 10 level 7 walls, instead of dumping 200k at a time into single walls.
Loot is worse than ever. Its just terrible. Farmed 500k today.
if that was the case, we would all be playing the final level of the single player mission which gives 800K each over and over again for an easy full storages withing a few hours.. do you see why now?
I never said loot was bad for everyone (you seem to have a thing for straw man arguments, don't you?). I am merely stating the fact that loot is bad for me, as well as many other people reporting similar results.
Next...;)
So just because Supercell has not yet taken any official action to address the problem, the problem does not currently exist? Argumentum ad ignorantiam.
Did the problem of hogs being OP in Clan Wars exist before Supercell took action and nerfed them?
Next...;)
BTW - I sure am enjoying these 1-gem boosts. I was experiencing really bad loot for a while, but these 1-gem boosts are helping :D
if they already know the maintenance time then they should have make 1 gem for few days just like the event couple weeks ago, as that really helps the loot problem :)
People would not raid each other...just farm the single player missions.
If the loot regened once a month it would be a nice income injection though....you know, for times when, oh, I dont know, they release an update and multi-player loot sucks - even weeks after the update!
I just wanted to say
Lol I'm getting so much loot I bet all of you are jealous ;)
I'm swimming in loot and no one can stop me
Not the only one. It's hard to believe all these loot complaint threads.
Especially with the sticky on top. I call it attention seeking. They always try and speak on your behalf, and quite frankly, many of us are well of when it comes to loot.
Its nice to see a thread the opposite of that
Epic LOL.....
I keep seeing the words evidence, proof, screen shot, etc on this forum. And the fact is that no one players screen shots or video proves anything either way.
I could post my attack log and people would be drooling over the amount of loot I've gotten today per raid. But what that doesn't show is that 3 times today I pressed next over 100 times. And before you start going off about collector raids I raid with loons in masters, so it's mainly storages. I could show a video of myself nexting 100+ times but again, that would prove nothing. I could also show a video where I found a great raid in under 30 nexts.
On the other side of the coin, just because a corporation is telling you that they care and they are monitoring the situation that doesn't provide any proof either. They are monitoring gem sales and gauging their perceived longevity of the game. They only care about player satisfaction to the point where it would start massively affecting gem sales or affect the longevity of the game.
I just can't understand why so many people feel the need to defend a corporation. It's not like it's your cousin or your buddy down the street. It's an entity that is set up to make money. That's the entire purpose of a corporation.
And these forums are set up to gauge the way players feel about the game and for players to discuss their experiences with other players. It's not here to be the cheerleading squad for SuperCell.
If you have no problems with loot, then good for you. I'm happy for you. Everyone should have a good gaming experience. But, the fact is that for many people there is a next button problem. That is indisputable. There are just too many posts from a wide variety of player types (long termers, newcomers, storage raiders, collector raiders) to say there isn't a problem.
Aside from your taking my comment out of context, active players absence on the forums, by no means, gives evidence that most players are experiencing loot issues either. it is far easier to assume that, with the defining silence from the majority, the percieved loot issue is not as great as the 1300 here would want you to believe. However, with your, and many of the other 1300's, continued use of the assumption that most players are experiencing this issue, while refusing to admit to the possibility of differing views, it seems you are simply, in an unsubstanciated manner, using the masses in an effort toward personal gain, whatever that may be.
Rather than ask me that question, perhaps you should be asking those in this, and the prior thread, why they have previously attempted to use these numbers in defending their arguement.
At first I really liked this update. There are many things I still like about it but I must admit, at times I feel farming has died. I am getting tired of hitting next.
maybe supercell should make nexting free of charge. It's just seems really difficult to get good loot right now.
Some people here want to be mods? ;)
Its funny to see people defending the undefendable. Even with the 1 gem boost loot is inexistent.
My point exactly. The fact that there are players who are not forum-users does not prove they are experiencing good or bad loot. In fact, it proves nothing and is completely irrelevant to the discussion.
We, however, are forum-users and are giving our feedback, and our feedback is relevant to the discussion.
Again with the assumptions....
Again, the fact that there are players who are not forum-users does not prove they are experiencing good or bad loot. In fact, it proves nothing and is completely irrelevant to the discussion.
As previously stated, I never said that "most players are experiencing this issue," I am only reporting my experience, as well as taking into account the fact that many other people are reporting the same exact issue.
How am I "using the masses in an effort toward personal gain"? As I just said, I am only reporting my experience, as well as taking into account the fact that many other people are reporting the same exact issue.
What is your "personal gain" in trying to discredit our feedback by making all these assumptions?
Loot S*** thats my feedback
I do not know it as a verifiable fact, that is true. Their lack of comment or acknowledgement support there not being a problem, but yes it does not prove that.
If there is a problem, action taken by SC will prove a problem and that is more of the point of the statement. That is also a theme in many of many recent posts.
Yeah you regularly say loot is a problem for everyone only if it is implied and not explicit. We are both guilty of implying things. And no it does not mean the problem does not exist, the lack of action or comment supports nothing abnormal is happening outside of update woes. (Which SC have commented on.)
The reason for the boosts is clearly explained in the sticky about them and in game, there is no evidence they are there to ease a problem. I would further say that they are 4 days of boosts which is hardly a fix for a long term problem.
Next...;) OMG were are now nexting on the forums! Damn you SC! #next...
First let me apologize as a portion of this post could have been taken personally. And for that I apologize to Badfish.
The example given was poorly worded and not meant to mean Badfish was being represented by it. Rather a concept others use and more specifically the concept that complaints evidence a widespread problem. Please accept the amended form. And again sorry for the post coming off as personal that was not the intent.
A forumer says loot is bad across the board.
I say here is a pic showing loot is not bad.
A froumer is wrong.
:D This is true but I am not alone.:D Furtermore people who are satisfied are much less likely to voice that than those who are not satisfied. Less people are complaining than playing. But again only SC has the numbers.
Have you had some reasonable raids recently?
Myself I have been sitting on full storages for a day or so, too stingy to gem build time. 2200
Next...?;) #Next...
I disagree. Inaction could mean many things, including SC's fear / reluctance to make major changes to a very popular game (and their business).
In their defence, SC has recently introduced Level 7 Barch troops for TH10s. That will increase loot for TH10s by allowing them to Barch any TH8 and early TH9 with ease, assuming they are willing to raid storages. What it doesn't address is the "next next next" problem, shifting through the bases that no-one wants to attack (these need to be thinned somehow).
Raids are better than they were - It is possible to play and not get frustrated which is a bonus!
However, there are still a lot of very low loot raids in my queue - often. Nexting can easily last 10mins as a result, or longer if I feel the need to self flagellate!
Better loot...
Not what I would call good loot though - still possible to end a raid net neutral / negative which in my view is a broken economy.
Dont get me wrong, I dont think it is an easy fix for SC...but I do think a change is needed
(sorry for the bold - I like underling But you've already done that! Italic just doesn't stand out. )
Again - we do not know if any action is being taken by SC or not.
We don't know if they are researching different methods of loot calculation or not.
IF SC changed the loot system tomorrow... do we accept that there is a loot problem? or has been a loot problem? and if so when did the problem exist? or do we say that there wasn't a loot problem but now loot is improved (i'm an optimist!)
One could just as easily say that their response that they are monitoring the situation is an acknowledgement of the loot issue affecting players. One could also say that if there was no problem with loot SC just as easily say so and provide stats on this.
The reality is - either side of the argument that is taken - is making assumptions that are not verifiable and add nothing to the conversation as to whether or not there is a loot problem.
I would expect SC to monitor the statistics for the game.
I'd say loot is fine as it is but I don't find a lot of lot since I'm TH 10 and I'm in bronze
There could be some repeatable missions once a month, but the main Focus of loot should not be single Player.
CoC is a multiplayer game and getting the loot from single Player will eliminate the whole reason for building up your base.
