The NEW one and only loot is good or bad thread

Loot is indeed harder to find right now. All of my clan is finding it drier. I have members opting out of war due to it. It's not terrible ... but it's not good either. 100 k barching raids are a tough find still. And that's just in order to spend as little on elixir as possible.

In my opinion mine and collector level ( or rather lack thereof ) is the main reason for lack of loot. I hate seeing level six mines and collectors when raiding. Achievements for fully upgrading mines and collectors would solve a ton of problems.

I just spent $10 on some gems right before the patch. I want my money back. The game has been completely changed, it's a completely different game now. Why such huge changes? you guys had a cash cow and just poisoned it.

have to admit tho, elixir may have the added benefit of being able to upgrade walls now, but after that, what else? gold is still the priority here since every OTHER upgrades that actually makes your base stronger uses gold. doubt EE will ever surpass GG

Exactly.

Only problem is, before the update, it was easy to find bases with 300k+ elixir.

Now, to get that 30k and 300k elixir, on average you'd have to spend WAY more gold on nexting costs than you'd get back.

nNo they both equal now. If i see a lob sided base 50k of one and 350k off other I will try and get the loot. It is 400k I can now use both.

Yes but there's also people like me who raid consistently for both. I have on occasion raided for one or the other due to storages being full but that goes both ways and it would balance out. By and large what bases hold is skewed now and when you look at collector vs mine level it's not hard to see why.

My level discrepancies between the two have also always been apparent from GG vs EE. Only in th7 did I ever try exclusively to hunt for gold near the end of the town hall. But that was only during waiting time for a laboratory upgrade to finish then I'd focus on elixir to fill my storages again which would balance out averages.

It's true, before the update I had full storages, a full CC and half full collectors of elixir. Now I never have more than 2.5 million elixir.

Same thing is happening to me..maybe i should try masters! A few people keep saying masters is booming!

Honestly it was a great idea to balance loot value between them allowing elixir to be used for walls. I can use gold on defenses later on and when i top out on elixir put it into walls. Plus after all defense are finished I can put both into walls which will leave less to loot for others i agree. However if the majority of farming is abandoned bases it's not really me and bases like mine that are feeding the economy so how I use it is less important overall.

The reason elixir is harder now though is due to the fact that gold WAS ONCE king ... now it's king but elixir is clearly the queen. Now if people prioritize both collectors and mines it will balance out.
