Barch more skill than a Goblah army?!? Hahahaha. Now I know you're trolling.

I agree that barch is the only cost-effective army to use anymore, but it didn't use to be this way.
However, I disagree that it really takes any skill. All I use now is lvl 7 barch to farm the bonus in M3-M2, and it takes no skill for me to spam lines of barbs and archers every time and win 100% of the time.
I much prefer the game back when it was profitable to use a wide variety of troop combinations.
Just ignore him. His suggestions are fine if SC planned to revert back to the system of inactives feeding almost the entire economy, but SC clearly wants to move to a new direction from that. Increased collector levels don't address the issue of massive stores of loot hiding under cheap TH shields, and the problem players are finding from players dumping all their gold/elixir into walls before logging out. He either doesn't understand that our suggestions need to be implemented as a collective group or is just trolling and using the TH as a storage aspect as his "pick and choose" fodder to try and make us look like we don't know what we're talking about.
So according to your attack log, all those bases were abandoned, meaning had it not been for those players quitting, you would have found no loot. Finding inactives doesn't constitute loot being 'fine', for the simple reason that you find them with luck or chance. The fact that you even use it as an argument illustrates tremendous ignorance. Furthermore, posting one raiding session to perpetuate the general state of loot for the community as being fine is also ignorant. The key to a games longevity and replay value (as I've regurgitated over and over) is consistency. If everyone can find those abandoned bases regularly, as it happened before the update that knocked them back, then all is good. But if only a handful of people are finding it, that is not fair for the others. If you've adopted the mentality that as long as you're good, everyone else should be fine, then you are one of the main reasons why this thread has derailed into what it is today; a big flame war.
Edit #1 . You're also using gems that you purchased. The game does not give you enough gems through in-game challenges to consistently boost barracks. Some people don't want to waste money on this broken game. In a nutshell, loot is good for you because you're lucky and throwing money at the game. Sounds very fair and reasonable.
Ofcourse most barches dont take any skill whatsoever, but some of them do. Like when you have to make decisions on the fly about which side you want to attack from and what collectors you are going to give up, while still trying to grab the 50%. You know, those decent levelled th10s that have them all within walls and stuff. Some barch raids actually require thought like that and can be quite fun.
But again those raids are few and far between.
Whats stupid to me is how some people feel like they can look down on collector raids as if storage raids require so much strategy when they dont either, they are just more time consuming to train up, like loon spamming raids.
Took 2 weeks off this thread, only to come back to the same flame war. Believe it or not, there are still people coming on here posting one raid session they paid for while finding abandoned bases talking about "loot is fine". Nearing 2000 pages and there is no problem, right? As Supercell stated on a boom beach post last week, and I'm paraphrasing here, but you get the gist of it. "We don't like when you mistreat us, we like for you to be nice and straight to the point". So I'll play your game.
Supercell, my darling Supercell. Please hurry your fannies and do something already because your loyal customers that you supposedly care about are losing their patience.
My ideas are pretty much on par with other logical human beings on this thread such Iceageg, Badfish, lord ambreon.
Undo the update that pushed back inactives so that EVERYONE can find them or if you don't want to go backwards, introduce some NPC bases that carry good amounts. Dramatically increase loot bonus for wins, and dramatically increase loot bonus for war. The increases implemented in the last update are far too minuscule to be effective on a macro level. OORRRRR, you can apply those conquests from Mastermind that have been suggested and floating around for almost a year and a half.
Also, Steve, and other staff, if you could regularly show your presence on here, it would be great. You guys have a serious communication issue and you're doing nothing to address it, other than admitting it. Please.
I may have found this a couple days ago but it means loot is still out there in vast amounts.

Sadly I could only get about 400k from this guy but it was still a great hit!
