SC, your integrity as a company is being challenged. You know players are C H E A T I N G. using 3rd party programs. In order to maintain a credible game you need to do something soon. You are being judged to see how noble you and your employees are...you owe it to your customers to stop the C H E A T I N G anyway that you can.
suggestions have been offered yet we see that you aren't taking steps to resolve the issue...
one simple fix to bots is to add a human response required to play the game for more than 30 minutes. A response of entering a random code. This is easy to program...if not this, then anything else that works...just get to it.
Actually this post is the first time you have said the word bet. Before this it was about you paying for someone to post a video because you were so confident low loot bases didn't exist. So you're clearly a troll. Not a man/woman of your word. I doubt you have the money to back it regardless. As such ... I'm done with you. Welcome to the ignore list. To anyu saying make the town hall another storage ... you have to be kidding me. Force me to put it inside and I'm done. It's only outside for all the "great defensive wins!!!!!!" that serves no purpose but to make my losses triple what they are. Defensive wins unarm my traps and empty my clan castle. May as well put my storages in a corner. Defensive wins are worth nothing except lost resources. Trophies? Useless. Trophies don't help you advance your base. Loot does.
And as long as I'm carrying loot ... no one stops at my town hall ... but at least they give me a shield the majority of the time
I do want the shield for destroying the TH gone, and have written so. I get sniped constantly when I have a lot of loot available. I am just now off of a shield from two snipes and until I just spent it earlier, I was past the cap on elixir and gold.
I don't want to lose my resources, but what's happening to me is happening to possibly hundreds of thousands of bases. Each th sniper can potentially remove 100s of bases from the nexting each season. I believe it'd be worth it to me to endanger my loot so that I can actually find decent resources from bases and not have to rely almost exclusively upon inactives to get anything. It's no accident that the 30/50k worthless bases everyone has to next past are all trophy bases.
If putting loot in the town hall was all that was required for a fix, I'd be all for that, but that won't fix anything. In fact, that would only further the problem by encouraging th sniping. As long as the town hall is worth less than what you can lose from a massive attack it will still be a cheap shield that's worth taking advantage of.
1.) I have always put my th outside since th5 where I noticed that it is completely worthless. I do not care about trophies. I get enough of them while attacking and have to get rid of them all the time because loot gets bad up there or at least loot that I can get, but I think for better game balancing destroying the th should not give you a shield.
On the other Hand a shorter shield should always be awarded for a successful defense. Why not 6 hours at 20%. Otherwise making a good defense will only punish you, if the enemy gets 1 of 4 Storages, disarms the traps, kills clan Castle troops, but fails at 30%. This will only get Players to build poor bases on purpose of putting their xbows/Infernos into the Corner.
2.) The Problem is not bases that do not contain loot. The Problem is that there are more players that want to attack than Players that can be attacked. Then the worst bases are shown to everybody again and again. I think the shield logic should be changed at all. th destroyed should no Award a shield. Also good defenses should Award a shield.
My idea is:
.) Give shield time for cost of Units killed. If you kill 5 barbarians after a th snipe, you get 10 minutes. If you kill 20 giants and 15 hogs with your clan Castle troops you get 12 hours.
.) Change the factor depending of the league. Lower leagues get longer shield, higher leagues get shorter shields. This will also fix the Problem of loot disappearing in higher leagues because Players are more active.
.) The league Bonus should be more elixir than Gold. At the Moment Gold is pushed into the economy at higher leagues, but elixir is sucked out. This was not a Problem before the wall update, because everybody was doing walls with Gold.
These are purely opinionated ideas. 1) Removing loot penalty on th's that are only 1 th under you 2) changing the amount of loot produced a day (increase the amount that Mines and pumps produce) 3) S.C can add bases into the match-making que, much like single-player, that may be difficult but offers a large amount of loot 4) Work out a system that hide th's that are 3 th's or below your own when searching-that will solve the problem of th10s attacking th7s, and remove some of the bases from the que (for some people, at least-mostly th9's and th10's will benefit) 5) Add new means of producing/collecting resources, to boost the economy back up.
We're on a th7-level economy and have been since the game was created. I'm not a economist and i haven't read through all the fanatastic ideas offered in this thread but to me it's obvious we need a change in the economy from the foundation up-the foundation being the amount of loot PUT INTO the economy. Nexting cost and troop cost isn't the entire issue-it's the amount of loot circulating in the economy. With every update high-level upgrades are added, but nothing is changed to keep the balance of loot being produced to match the upgrades (Example: archer towers level 13 being added- an additional 7.5m -gold- cost, but nothing was introduced to match that 7.5m gold per archer tower being removed)
