The NEW one and only loot is good or bad thread

there was a time when i made a 3rd acct to see if a rushed th8 can handle but as it goes, it cant, so i dropped it and got lazy when it turned to a horribly th6.

i left it for a month or a month and two weeks after deciding to max it as a th6 six. moving on, i took a look at the defense logs too see the lucky peeps that harvestedy collectors for me.

turned out, thr last time i was raided was 13-14d nth hours nth minutes.

supercell told us it doesnt delete abandoned bases, but theyre surely hiding them. this loot depression might be a symptom of a lot of base 'expirations'. just my 2 cents

I am farming with loonion at 2800 cup cup range. I consistently find storage raids and pay for my armies every time. It waxes and wanes but I am managing maybe 8 attacks per day averaging 300k each plus league bonus, so I am finally keeping all of my builders busy. I next maybe 20 times tops and actually see quite the selection, allowing me to be choosy in my targets.

Sadly, this game is devolving to forum posters arguing with other forum posters, "no you can't/yes I can" instead of all of us playing the game :(

I'm just curious if the gambling aspect produces another round of bans.....

I agree. But really, does it even matter? 800 pages of complaints and people voicing their opinions on fixes and we haven't heard a peep from SC for a while. I really hope they're working on something big for the next update, because this loot issue and game is getting stale.

The thread is lousy with shills for Supercell and Coathanger sock puppets. Of course there's a loot problem. Any fool can see that. The insane idea of punishing farmers by making th a storage and taking away shields is the kind of dim thinking we are used to seeing from SC with regard to the economy.

If those changes were instituted I would just dump everything into walls. As it is i have loaded storages for anyone brave enough to try. Dont think that those storages would be loaded if there were no shields. I will put it into walls and just never upgrade anything more. Then I will quit because that is dull. And then my base will disappear into the inactives and never be seen again.

There are several problems:
1) Bots are taking all the rich bases before hunans can get them. SC sees the same amount of loot being taken so all is well in their myopia.
2) SC removing inactives too fast. Not everything needs to be left in but they disappear too fast.
3) Collectors and mines are ridiculously underpowered for th9 and 10. Its nuts to expect these buildings, which were designed for the th7/8 economy yo support current end game. A new level needs to be added for each of th 8 9 and 10. Let them do the job of pumping loot into the economy like they were supposed to.

I quit waiting for the "something big for the next update" , i play maybe once a week now, mostly to dump mines and collectors and to buy walls, haven't bought gems since who knows when, if SC doesn't want to respond to the 800 pages mentioned above they can do without my $$$, i'm able to find lots of other games to play

SC did respond. There isn't a loot issue according to them. This is just a thread for pointless complaining.

Do you even read the ideas put forth? No one is saying get rid of shields. No one is saying end the TH snipe specifically. People want to end the CHeAP TH snipe. Meaning, add 20% of lootable resources to the TH making it equal to a storage unit. Getting a shield for FREE is the issue. That alone is not enough to fix and and make the game fun again for everyone. Add rewards for winning on defense as well, and the tens of thousands of people who get cheap shields 99% of the time would probably move those THs inside and we can actually raid their base. The issues we have are fun related. It is not fun to NEXT through 100 to 300 bases to find a base we can recover 200k of each from.

When I personally am getting a cheap shield nearly every single time i logout, even in champs at 3500 where I currently am, and every advanced th10 in my clan who do the same thing are all getting cheap shields 99% of the time! Our storages are effectively NOT in the queue. I would posit tens of thousands of other people do the same thing as we do because it makes sense. Even if 20% swapped to the TH i would still put it outside for the less cheap shield if I am in champs, in lower leagues i would probably move it inside. Only when combined with defensive rewards does the plan come together and most would move their TH inside and we could have a functioning raiding game.

This is how I currently play... I manage my shields so no one ever gets my collectors, I raid everyone else to live off of almost entirely the loot bonus, and when I log out with max loot in my storages my TH is in the corner where it is sniped for two straight months in low masters, and 95% sniped in champs for a free shield. This is a stupid way to play a raiding game. The game incentivizes cheap shields because winning on D means nothing!
