How long ago did you max?

Yesterday C3 was a nightmare. Today I'm raking in 500k every 5 bases. It's a total ♥♥♥♥ shoot.
When the lava hound came was when the drought started.
Of course they have acecepted the fact that bringing inactives to the end of the queue may put them on a subworld forever..... I can check it with my Gamecenter friends...got some that appears with same cups forever....also it remaims broken from his last raid months ago....so the base its the same over n over...i got pics...
Well, I tried to force myself to log on and raid to set off the final leg of the new mortar which is 6.4m...
I had 4.5m when my builder cam free...
That level of inactivity from me - only raiding 4.5m minus collector loot - is unusual but I'm okay with it. The less I played, the less I wanted to play. Its a sad shame but its just a fact.
I just tried a raid for the hell of it...100 skips for 120k profit including bonus. Not an enjoyable way to spend 15 minutes...
Doesnt look like this situation will fix itself...need to wait for the update and that update needs to be massive on a couple of fronts:
1/ Addresses loot so it is enjoyable to raid - and so that we find acceptable raids in a fraction of the time at present..."acceptable" is subjective but I think 150k of each is ok, all-be-it on the low side. 250k of each is much better and is STILL only 60% of what is available from a base with full storages...so hardly being greedy asking for it to be available within one minute
2/ Address the acute lack of content. This is a long standing issue and actually more fundamental than loot...The loot issue just drove people away faster than the lack of content was because some, like me, still farmed even though there is very little to farm for (at my level). But when you are essentially wasting your time, you need to make a judgement call...
If they do not address BOTH, and make a good job of it, then Im afraid a lot of players will not come back.
They don't care Carlito (or maybe they do but hardly show it)
Their statements are also contradictory. One day they say "loot is fine according to our figures". The next day suddenly "they are looking into a solution but it takes time" and a month later it is "the loot is fine" again.
I don't believe nor trust anything SC says anymore.
I see what I see, it's not in my head (and no, I'm not always using a farming army and I did try changing cups).
Deliberately staying TH9 here and doing lavas and heroes. Seeing clanmates getting excited with 150K makes me rather sad tbh and not looking forward to TH10 at all.
Thanks for reading enough to find that particular nugget not only in my long winded posts, but from this sea of bickering and complaining. Hopefully SC has done the same. The sad thing is this could probably be implemented today (in my experience yesterday is nearly impossible to achieve) with ZERO negative repercussions . . . because by design they could throttle it up or down without anybody knowing it. It is the fact that SC has not implemented any of these types of soft changes that is so troubling.
For reference, I have reposted the content that Greg123 was commenting on below:
The next easy change is to re-introduce some of the inactive accounts back into the economy. This would not need a code push and could be easily manipulated in the future to regulate the economy. For example they could easily increase the number of inactive accounts for 3 days after a patch then throttle it back once the initial spending frenzy has ended. In addition to adding them back I would suggest ignoring their trophy count for match making. This would avoid the sedimentary tendency they now have to cluster in high silver and gold. The inactive bases would be spread out using TH level or the war strength calculator and assigned to leagues based on their progress. For instance inactive TH8 accounts would be searchable from silver 1 to gold 2 depending on their strength. TH9 from gold3 to crystal 2 and TH10 from gold 1 to crystal 1. If the user logs in their trophies are used to assign their gameplay but they would be spread out artificially when they go inactive. This would both discourage dropping trophies to farm and serve as a roadblock for bots. Again, since it is adjustable on SC's server it would require no code push when they wanted to introduce or remove them to adjust the economy. These are the CoC equivalent of the "tourist" dollars that I was talking about earlier that many real economies are solely dependent on.
How many weeks of silence has it been ??
FYI - Supercell and your overlord Softbank, silence is not an actual fix to concerns and issues of your customers..
How about you open up and let us know a few things??
1. Are you investing in engineering cycles to make sugnicifent improvements to COC ??
a. other then maintenance cycles and debugging!
2. What actions are you taking to prevent COC from becoming boring as you advance due to endless nexting ?
3. How do you plan on improving the economy that many players believe is broken?
a. if you do not believe the economy is not broken; please explain in simple English your view on this .. ;-)
4. Users believe that BOTS and other ♥♥♥♥♥s are hurting the game, what are you doing to prevent or disrupt them ?
I would be happy with answers to just these 4 questions for now, so I can decide if I ever want to Gem again !!
Thx
