I usually set a limit or watch the collectors to tell when it's a dry time to raid or not. If I reach my limit of 100-200k of nexting i'll just put down the iPad and try again later. Loot can be really bad, game can be unplayable and frustrating but at the right times its perfect for farming.
I think you should try farming for a while and maybe drop down trophies so that way no one attacks you accept the town hall snipers put your town hall on the out side to get shields then you can gain loot and got out and attack I learned about this from a guy in a clan called COC ROCKERS :cool:
