I would have advised him that he would progress much better if he started a new account from scratch, but when I was TH9 I enjoyed his Level 6 wiz and Level 5 PEKKA way too much to actually come out and tell him. Kudos to him though.;)

problem is...alot of people will never come to here\to someone who knows.
heck,if everyone did,we were all up in masters,having our th outside and sniping each other so we whould all earn that league bonus..but sadly that will never be.
altho i guess that will kinda also be boring as heck as no raid will be fun if all we do is snipe and raid at wars...

Instead their base would be scored in much the same way as war matchups are (defensive and troop upgrade levels) and then assigned to a league as an available nexting target. A weak TH8 would be lumped in silver1-gold3 while a strong TH9 would be lumped in say gold1 to crystal 2. If it sat dormant for too long SC would remove the account from being a potential target (due to a larger economic shift that supports the removed "tourist" income having already been implemented!!!).

The idea here is by shifting TH9-10 accounts up into crystal after 48 hours of inactivity it would prevent those accounts from dropping to protect their loot (effectively removing it from the economy) and it would discourage active players from dropping into gold to farm. If a TH10 knows all of the inactive TH10 bases are up in crystal they would be less likely to drop all the way to gold/silver to find TH8s. Combine this with the additional idea of SC being able to add more or remove more of these from the economy and all of a sudden there is a very realistic way of injecting resources into the economy that must be attacked for (even if they are simple collector raids) but keeps those funds from falling sedimentary lower than they are needed by scoring them a different way to keep them higher in the leagues.

This is an excellent suggestion and is fully controllable by SC.. We know something happens with them so why not use them?? :)

Haha, I was just gonna reply to Coathanger's question about that with "What inactives?"

I honestly don't think I've seen a single inactive base since farming in Crystal 2 and 3. Even back in the Gold leagues on my 2nd account they are very obviously getting phased out at a quicker rate, that or bots are getting to them before we can. Whatever the reason is, in one way or another, they are not available for us to hit like they used to, and it's contributing to this loot drought.

I think that's a great idea, being able to have inactives show up in a wider range of leagues than strictly that 1100-1400 range would go a long way in giving incentive to farm at more leagues. But having them EXIST to us to hit is really all we want. (What I really want is a change in how actives can acquire loot from other actives--as you're painfully aware of by now--but I wouldn't fight this idea even one lick, lol)

And I'm glad that you recognized lix for walls was going to be a disaster (but claiming you were the only one is not true, there were quite a few others). If that is the case then why did you try to throw the clan wars % upgrade into that argument? It was clearly something they did to try and put a band-aid onto the mess they made. It had nothing to do with anything before the update.

We both agree that loot is bad and needs to be fixed. All this other arguing is worthless.

Not saying a clan consisting of different townhall levels is unorganised, I am saying a clan that puts all the pressure on few people to donate is unorganised. Don't twist my words.

I was one of the most vocal ones regarding those elixir walls, I was also being argued with a ton like here. What do elixir walls have to do with the percentage extra war loot bonus? I can't see the connection on that one. They added war loot as an attempt to improve loot gained as they also increase the percentage when you lose to 40%.

I only argue with people in order to make it better. I am convinced arguing with others allows both parties to come to different but improved conclusions for sure! Do I enjoy this arguing? Barely. Do I think good arguing gets noted by Supercell? Hell yes, that's why I do it. There are some people on here cheering for one another, not contributing to the conversation but only increasing their post count. Like I said to another forumer today, I appreciate the civil way of arguing, thank you for that.
