The economics of this game are off. Supply and Demand. Basic econ 101. This games supply of loot hasn't increased since TH9 was max in any significant way (league bonuses add little, and wars don't really pay for themselves for most higher level players considering the amount of lix cost filling CCs). And at the same time, demand has progressively increased (higher TH levels, ITs, Xbows, heroes, higher level walls, higher level AT, WT, cannons, and so forth). This has tipped demand >> supply, and the breaking point was lix for walls, which just sent what low supply of lix was out there into the black hole known as a wall upgrade.
Loot supply, especially elixir, needs to be pumped up fundamentally for higher level players (9 and 10) to keep up with the demands at TH 9 and 10.
