Oh yes, I am definitely finding TH7's, TH8's, and TH9's in Master II right now. They are all over the place and that loot is just a tricklin' right into my storages!

On a serious note, 100% of the bases I have come across in M2 are TH10 (and trust me, I do a LOT of nexting). So how again does that loot from TH7 trickle up to all these TH10s if it does not trickle up leagues?

That seems to be an untestable hypothesis though, and it doesn't really fit in with their own narratives. If they kept such a tight grip on loot like that, why do they never use that to compensate for post update loot? In fact, this should be done autmotically if you're correct. Personally I find a hyper-controlled flow of inactives to be relatively implausible.

Hi zachUVA, read your piece on long term loot challenges - & it's a sound theory in my mind. However, to extend further, i think the recent lix in walls change has created a tipping point.

taking your shoe / loot factory analogy one step further - whilst ranges were fragmented, additional factories were present - maxing th8's / 9's / 10's, who had spent all the lix they needed & were concentrating on walls. I feel they helped fuel the economy - was always happy to storage raid a 400k ish lix th9 with minimal gold - more than paid for the army used, & funded the next hit on a more gold rich target. Whilst i'm sure they would prefer not to be raided - bulk of gold was in walls already, they couldnae care less about the lix, as they had plenty to raid with themselves.

given the former whales were only whales cos they were focusing on walls, can't blame them for sticking the lix in walls - i would if i were them. But IMO the 'fix' (or sticking plaster) for longer term loot / shoe factory fragmentation was these lix whales - they've now gone, and gone quickly, rather than a slow drift. it may be a case that further time will be required for the new normal to be reached - & the longevity of the loot complaints are testament to this. I'm not sure the new normal will be to everyone's liking though - & i agree extra production may be required, but surely the 'lix whales' will just stick this in there walls too......

I'm sure SC thought long & hard about the change, & i trust that they are currently working hard on a soln. I also know well thought out plans can collapse on contact with real life - & as you mentioned in a later post, feel the dial may have been turned further than we (or they) expected in their plans for longer term game development.

If this is not a collector game, then why is every single picture of loot including every single one you yourself publish collector loot from semi active bases?

You are not raiding people's base, you are skimming inactives. Dont tell me how to find loot when you are still using teir 1 troops to farm.


And farm for what?!? New troops you cant afford to use because there is no elixir in people's storages those troops are designed to get? New defenses you dont use because your TH is outside and gets sniped 95% of the time taking any storage loot you have out of circulation as well?

This game has many loot issues. Pretending that finding inactives is a great solution for us all is just sillyness... That is the equivalent of FarmVille. It is brainless nexting till you find a collector base. It is neither fun or the future of the game.

I am musing the effect of making destroying TH and 50% worth ALL the loot on offer.....TH s would go in soooo fast and the number of bases to loot would increase exponentially.

Dont jump all over me for this suggestion....just trying to enhance the game I love! 😃

After two grumpy posts on loot (first times as well), it's definitely gotten better for me. More realistic storage offers above 200k and higher rate of inactives. Still noticing a lot of the 200+ base offers have next to no elixir but I'm working on basis of using the inactives when they show up to supplement elixir "top ups". Seems to be working ok.

Still can't justify boosted barracks though, as I need heroes and some spells to unlock the storage bases. Have resigned myself to raiding every 20-30 minutes now instead of proper boosted sessions like I used to.
