The NEW one and only loot is good or bad thread

I like how most th9s are finding loot to be mostly bad. But a few are still saying it's good... Note: nearly all of their pics of loot are from th8s or dead bases... Because, a sign of a good economy is lots of inactive dead bases right?

What you dont see are any th10s that arent permanently in champs supported by gem use saying how amazing loot is.

The only way for th10s to prosper is via gem use to boost everything and farm league bonuses, th snipes for league bonuses, finding lucky inactives, and staying online for hours and hours to stay in champs for that bonus. Using a cheap army the entire time... Sounds amazing!

Me.. I have been finding inactive dead bases to barch... 90% of my attacks now are on collectors because i cant find storages worth raiding.

Well last week I was doing OK in C3. Couple 100ks here and there. Sunday sucked. Mostly 20k something's with 2 inactives threw out the day. I attacked before I fell asleep, well I nexted till I quit. If it weren't for my clan I wouldn't play anymore. No reason to buy gems if their is nothing to raid. Haven't even bothered nexting today. Better things to do with 20 minutes in RL then spend 10-15 clicking next and 2 dropping troops.

Apparently the game hates me. I would gladly hit bases all day long that offered 300+ in the storages. Unfortunately SC keeps presenting me with 50K TH9/TH10.

I just... I can't. I cannot deal with these people. They are toxic to the forums, and to the game.

So most TH9/10s here have 3-4M in their storages, capping out the loot available? If that's the case, then why am I just finding all the smart players who happen to dump everything they have of the resource(s) they don't need into walls? Yes I am finding a base that might have one resource capped, but it's not most. It may come up once every 100 Nexts, and it's so infrequent that I cannot rely on it. As opposed to your assertion, that if most of the THs have this much available, I should be finding them every other Next, and be able to pick and choose the weaker bases to hit them for it all.

There is an undeniable problem with the availability of loot in this game, and it stems from Supercell removing the way that most loot has been farmed--accumulating through dead bases so that you can eventually hit a storage raid on the actives farming off collectors. SC is removing the ability to profit from inactive bases, which would be totally fine if they had a system in place to not bankrupt the active playerbase. They didn't incorporate one when they did these updates though, and that's why we're feeling this strain. Stop pick and choosing micro-examples to support whether the loot is "good or bad," it's an economical situation and there is no way in which the long-term outcome of this is anything but miserable, so long as there are active players up at the TH9/10 level trying to farm. That is unless SC makes some adaptations of their own and designs raiding to benefit active players.

Just bring back the old system loot!

Dont worry, the good loot guys here are really like the good loot right now... after every 100 guys complaining about loot one such guy crops up...same as in the game...next next next..x XXX = good loot... but we all know SC has already acknowledged the problem & took its 1st step to try to handle the issue...

unfortunately its not enough... hope they dont take another 2 months & 500 pages to take the next...next next... steps

but we can ignore the scanty good looters..and report our loots...let them enjoy their good loots...

what we are fighting for today they shall be doing later... unfortunately those of us who leave this superb game will contribute to the so called end of the queue...

Pure ♥♥! Removing of inactive bases from the queue has been well documented! I know first hand from my alt th7 account. It goes weeks without being attacked with full collectors!

I don't mind if I am not finding dead bases, but storage raids are hard to come by too. Everyone dumping elixier in walls, makes it harder. These r post update effects.

So sc came up with solution. "So u can't find good bases to raid you say? Let's give more protection for your storages. Take this mortar and skellies, this should help you keep your loot safe. VOILA, now u r good".
OK ok, take 20% more loot bonus. U happy now?.."

This is nothing new. We have seen same situation with other games,companies people love. They try to fix what is not broken and mess up the game completely. Well, I am not sprouting any airy theories here, but i am seeing so many players in my clan just come online for war attacks or chat. Not many people raiding. People who used to do 5-6 lavas a day are now just farming dark and upgrading heroes. So many people in this thread are announcing there retirement because the game is broken. Is this the beginning of fall for clash of clan era? I hope not.

Anyway I need to finish my legoes n lavas, I don't have much hope from supercell regarding loot improvement. Either they just don't care or they can't find a solution that can keep our storages and their business both green at the same time. My last hope is Christmas boost. I hope they come up with 1 gem storage boost week again. That would be great. But looking at sc history, I think they will do exact opposite, instead of 1 gem storage boost, they will give 1 gem barracks boost. ♥♥♥♥, that will b terrible. Till then, I will keep ranting in this thread, because this is more amusing than nexting.

I think Daddy came on about 100 pages back and mentioned that the elixir for walls update was the right move, that it wouldn't be undone. If I may play Devil's Advocate to my own frustrations here, I'd like to understand and accept his statement.

Here's the thing: the elixir for walls update IS a move in the right direction. BUT it had to be done along with other changes that would account for the fact that active players who no longer need it would now be dumping all of it into walls, essentially taking those storage raids out of the system for players that desperately need it to progress (new THs). Maybe he knows of some future updates SC will be implementing that will cause this to be true. But if this was the only change SC intended with this update--to allow a resource that is still very valuable to developing THs to be dumped into a bottomless pit--then it was absolutely one of the worst moves they could have made, and I would seriously question the credibility of any economists they employ on their developing team that weren't able to see the effect that this would have, not even that far into the future either.
