The NEW one and only loot is good or bad thread

After the update were you could use Elixir to upgrade your wall, the loot have just been horrible. If i'm going to collect elixir to update my troops or buildings, I can't build strong troops and I just have to use Barbarians, archer or goblins. No, giants, wallbrakes, balloons.... and so on. I'm on the Chrystal 1 and 2 range for a couple of months for now, and I barely find a base with a loot of elixir now. The elixir store are just empty.

in c1,2,3 and masters where I am farming I had to press next over 100 times to find a base over 100k. ?? cmon even a maxed base with 400k.. nothing, there is nothing above 100k!!!
I'm wondering... is this the end of this beautiful game???:(

I think the game is on the downhill slide. All good things must come to an end. I have been as high as Master 1, and have dropped down to each league in between to gold 1 in search of a decent place to find loot, and I cannot seem to find anything. Time to just step away from the game for a while and see what happens.

Yesterday i decided to become an active raider again, after a month of being an active collector tapper. I am so glad i did. I raided three times in the morning. 2.5 hours wasted and my total gold "profit" was MINUS 100k. I am in Master 3, and even the 100k loot bonus was swallowed up along with the loot i was able to steal from my attacks.

So, i calmly said goodbye in clan chat and left the clan I started over one year ago. Games should be fun. When they cease being fun, they have no purpose anymore.

Of all the copycat games out there, (and i really don't know, because i don't play them.....yet) do any of them need to have a win bonus to help support the crappy loot system?

BTW, i have spent all my gold on the skeleton trap, my delixer on upgrading my useless king, and my purple has been spent on my walls ( awesome feature, yes?). So you will have to wait for my collectors to fill before taking my stuff.


2 years of love flushed down the crapper. I hope things improve so i can have fun playing with my CoC again sometime.

Sorry to hear you leaving, but I can certainly understand it. I can't find anything worth attacking with my TH10 camp. The last few days, I have found some stuff casually gaming with my TH9 camp - mostly inactives or loaded TH8 camps in the gold 2 area. But it's not even worth playing my TH10 camp. Just a losing proposition if I want to keep loot. So I may just collect it, use it for wars with my clan, and wait again until the next war 3-5 days later. We aren't even warring as often because the 3 or 4 of us TH10s that fill up the cc's can't afford to go more often - not enough lix out there...

so every update the loot gets worse and now its to the point of ditching the game all together i nexted 256 times this morning which is by far the most patience i have ever had with the next button only to find 1 base with over 100k gold and elix... i dropped trophies from 1900-1200 and still can't find squat.

its sad that the only intriguing part of this game is now the wars. to me supercell is just taking money out of their own pockets if they don't fix this problem sooner rather than later me along with plenty of other people on this thread have already stated that the game isn't even really worth playing anymore.

supercell comes through with great ideas, i love the update excluding adding a 4th mortar but who cares its a change which is good. but the update is meaningless if people are so put off about loot that they stop playing altogether. in my year of playing this game I'm to the point where i don't even want to get on because i know ill just be stuck nexting over and over for nothing. which intern means no loot for upgrades research etc. if theres no profit to be made then it will take away the entire aspect of progression which entirely defeats the point behind playing in the first place.

As it is, we've been given a little boost to the loot which makes a bigger contribution to covering costs but doesn't give much more incentive to do anything more than find the bases with the loot abandoned outside in collectors plus a little one star for the bonus. That change has made a big difference to me, in that it significantly improves my ability to cover costs. But there are so many bases that are presented for nexting that have little or no loot, or are massively affected by a loot penalty, before I can find one that is worth hitting. Last raid, took a war army on an outing. Needed 200k elix to cover costs, eventually found one. Off went my golems and witches to ... well ... empty the collectors. And yes, I also profited on the dark elix.

I agree with getting loot for defending would be kind of cool as it would mean defense had more of an importance. But if you would rather have to attack hard bases that had a little more loot the army alone would cost over 2 hours if you wanted your spells. You would not be able to keep builders going unless you attacked all day long.

The loot is still terrible in this game, even after the update. I spend 100k on gold looking over bases with 50-60k loot. And then I get off. I wake up to see that 750k gold has been taken from me. SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND. And this is in 14 hours. I am a level 83 th8, and my attackers are level 100 th9-10s. Each of them are able to take 250-300k gold. Not to mention it costs 100k to rearm my traps, and my collectors only make 20k. I am so sick of the crappy loot that Supercell will never fix. Clash of clans is no longer fun to play when its impossible to raid and everybody steals what I am able to scrap up.

yah, the loot situation is soo terrible for th10, and to an extent th9, if you're a th8 holding that much loot, you're gonna get hit hard by us all. Sorry about that. My suggestion, drop down in trophies. Down to gold 3, maybe even silver, and start hitting some th7s
