I have followed this thread for awhile now. Here is a summary of what I have seen in this thread:
1. Many lower level players (Under TH9) are having no problems find gold and elixer and do not feel there is a loot issue. I believe that they are being truthful.
2. The highest frustration appears to be some TH9s and the majority of TH10s. I am a TH10 and in this group. A few months ago I found bases with 200k of each all day long. I now get excited when I see 100k of either. So why is there no loot? Here are the reasons most often mentioned in this thread:
A. Elixer can now be used to purchase walls. Instead of saving up for any upgrade now, the temptation to upgrade a wall segment is keeping more and more bases low on elixer.
B. Chinese bot farmers - This Chinese ♥♥♥♥ that has been inserted into the game called "ding ding robot" is starting to cause some serious problems. Have some of you in hardcore war clans noticed that occasionally you face a Chinese clan with 35-50 maxed TH9s with level 10 walls? Yeah, this software program is the reason why. This software allows those that have it to farm all night long while off the game. Before some of you get excited and go looking for it, the software has multiple viruses in it that are really nasty stuff. You would have to be an idiot to download that software unless you are from China and can get a clean copy of it. Watch a youtube video on how the software attacks bases and you will then realize you have been attacked by this software many times before as it is always in a predictable pattern. This software is bad news folks.
C. The developers continue to add new content (4th mortar, lava hound etc) that costs us gold/elixer without giving us new ways of making money. We have the same number of mines as always and occasionally they toss us a one gem boost for a day or two. Essentially the economy has become completely unbalanced in their favor and they are trying to force us to buy gems to do almost any high level upgrade now.
D. They have either removed inactive bases or moved them to the back of the ques now for high level bases. This one is hard to prove or disprove, but I personally almost never see a dead base anymore. Something has clearly changed and I am not sure what it is.
Either one of these listed above or more than likely a combination of all is causing our loot issues. Here is the deal guys, the developers really do not care that 90% of the people in this thread are unhappy with loot. Yeah, I know that sounds rough to hear, but it is true. Why do they not care? Because 90% of the people in this game play it casually and do not buy gems. It is gems that pay their salaries and gems that make the fancy cartoon commercials. If you are in that small 10% of people in the game that do buy gems like myself, simply stop purchasing them and let customer support know you are no longer going to purchase gems until loot is fixed. I have stopped farming in this game and my base just kind of sits there. All I do in this game now is chat with my clan friends and the occasional war attack. I have researched what I might be able to get for my base if I sold it. I am not going to do another farming attack until loot is fixed. I certainly am not going to buy another chest of gems from them. Let your wallets do the talking folks. If the money coming in starts to slow down, they will then maybe listen to us.
