Loot does not appear out of thin air. Generally speaking the most consistent loot comes from the collectors. I think that the majority of loot in game is generated from the collectors. Some from the loot bonus, some from Clan Wars, some from the little tombstones that are left when you're attacked.
The loot has to come from somewhere in the first place. By stealing from others you are stealing from their collectors ... which they stole from someone else's collectors etc. Plus the other sources.

The answer of course, relies on semantics. The base isn't "removed". It is "deprioritized" in the search to the point of being effectively removed. This is a technicality that SC hides behind for some reason.

The only deserted bases I have found have been sacrificed for the public very recently .....that is outstanding !!!!

I never stated it came out of thin air, I said it was easier to raid for the same amount, and in a much shorter amount of time. Of course loot is most consistent from collectors, figured that would obvious to all already. If you boost collectors you see an additional 432,000 gold and 432,000 exilir in a 24 hour period, IF your collectors are maxed and you have all 6 of each. If you cant earn more than that from a handful of BARCH attacks in an hour, then I dont know what to tell you. Why would I waste money on boosting collectors when I can go out and steal from someone else in a fraction of the same amount of time? Ill let others spend their gems on boosting collectors and just go steal theirs.

Somehow, after reading this comment 2,871 times, its not as funny as it once was.

And yes, I'm still collecting and waiting SC.

Botters (using ****stacks) and modders using xmod skip scripts, are finding the abandoned bases before humans. These programs allow people/PCs to skip for 10's of minutes at a time. Contrast that to the less patient human player who is more likely to settle for less than a predetermined amount of loot.

While I was saving gold for xbow lv3 I had several bot raid defenses. 2 out of 4 used the exact same troop deployment. If I knew how to record the raids on my android device I would have.

If SC makes abandoned bases easier to find then those who violate TS will likely benefit more than those who do not.

TL;DR Stop the botters and modders to save the economy.

If I thought SC listened, now I'm sure, they don't care about high level farmers who complain about loot. They just don't get it.

Abandons used to be everywhere and now they are frickin unicorns. You choked off a major income source for a lot of players. Loot is basically a zero sum game. My loot is someone else's loss. Nicely said. Gemmers AND farmers are necessary to sustain the game. Without farmers building bases, gemmers have much less to compete with. Gems aren't spent and profits go down the toilet.
