Good point. There also has been some things i noticed with steve's response.

First, as i said in my previous comment, he didn't acknowledge any loot problem with a specific time frame. While this loot problem has been really exacerbated by last major update, and started slowly from last december.

Secondly, Notice that he started to be active in this thread after a few threats and actual efforts to give COC bad review in both app store and facebook, and not buying gems

Third, They had a good initiative to give 1-gem boost during the last 3-days maintenance. If they do acknowledge the loot problem, why no such initiative now, after steve's comment?

Until there's any action to alleviate the loot problems, i dare say that supersteve's recent posts are just some stunt to ease public outcry

i dont know it enough in detail yet to make on the fly calculations but i think its a change like this thats needed for loot and to play the game for cups.

Some good ideas to fix the current game's economics. Particularly like the last comment. Seems so obvious to me, how comes SC can't see it?

Let me try putting it this way...

If you are relying on people not caring about elixir enough to protect it / sink it into walls as your way of raiding it, then surely you must see that from a supply perspective, there is a problem with elixir. Once people start using it, you cant find any.

The fact people are focussing on stopping others using lix on walls baffles me. We have an opportunity to lobby SC into a meaningful and significant loot change and people want to go back to the way it was before....newsflash, loot was not good before the update. Granted elixir is now in as short supply as gold was so some are struggling to build armies but come on guys, lets broaden our horizons and think big on this....

Thankfully, I expect SC are more inclined to do something "new" than go back to what they also saw as a broken system (otherwise they would not have changed it)

I just landed a 700k+ raid in crystal 3. Good times. Once every six months.

He was a massively inactive TH10 with dead Xbows and infernos!

What I find amazing is that SC has been caught out by the game's economy being so terrible. It does not take a rocket scientist to work out if you keep on adding ways to spend resources without increasing resource generation that there will be a shortage of resources.

Collector/mine levels have not increased since when the maximum TH was TH8. Is it so hard to understand? Simply add more collector/mine levels. This is the bare minimum SC should do to help the game's economy. Why not make it mandatory to upgrade all mines/collectors before you can upgrade TH?

This is simply ridiculous.

1. Wars are not about making a profit. The loot bonus is supposed to be bare minimum to cover army costs. If you use 10 dragons on a th7, that's your folly.
2. Too much loot will make the game worthless. Loot will be too easy, people will be upgrade premature and the challenge will be over. You suggestions are kiddish and knee-jerk opinions.
3. The dragon thing might seem unbalanced to you but its not. This way you will complain of GoWiPe at higher levels. Basically an army worth 300k+ elixir and upto 2 hours in build time has to be OP. Else attacking won't be fun and that's basically the USP of the game.
4. DE is a rare commodity and should be dealt with that way. Easy DE means there is nothing to fight for.
5. Automatic upgrade of collectors? LOL!

I understand that the loot is bad, but that's a temporary phase. Like a recession in the economy which is perfectly natural. Brave it out, if you must. I need found good loot last night after a long time and most of it in storages. If people get such easy loot, even more will stop playing.

Nope. it was an artificial change to the game that changed the whole economy, it certainly wasn't natural as you are suggesting.

There should, by now, have been some temporary measures put in place to ease the problem whilst a long term solution was worked on, instead we just keep getting the company line that they are working on it. Dissapointing to say the least.
