The NEW one and only loot is good or bad thread

This has to be one of the most cruel experiments on human behaviour EVER!!!!!!!!

Really what's the point, why did the game developers think it is so necessary to get players spend 80% of their gaming time pressing a button?

Is it supposed to be fun or challenging? Arent' mobile games the kind where you expect to be able to pick up and play?

TIME SPENT BUILDING TROOPS AND NEXTING TO FIND A BASE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN PART OF THE GAME WHAT SO EVER.

What a cruel game that gives one of the worst rewards for hard work and your time. FARMING IS A MAJOR PAIN AND PUSHING IS NOT MUCH BETTER ALL BECAUSE OF THE WAITING TIME.

Really you have to treat the game like a FULL TIME JOB to be able to get anywhere. Loot is next to impossible to obtain at ALL CUP LEVELS.

Why cant the entire game be based of clan wars? You pay the cost for your troops and attack the base suited for the army. Isnt that the whole point of a tower defence game, planning, strategy and execution?

No one should have to next next next to get somewhere in the game. We should be able to raid anytime for what we enjoy without having to WAIT!!!

I dont care if loot is in the collectors or storages just give me something decent and not MAKE ME HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY ARMY TO TRAIN. REALLY WHATS THE POINT OF PLAYING IF MOST OF YOUR GAMETIME IS SPENT WAITING TO ATTACK

IT IS BECAUSE THE LOOT IS SO ♥♥♥♥ AWFUL THAT PEOPLE HAVE TO RESORT TO M0DDING/ CH EE TING SO AS TO GIVE THEMSELVES SOME ENJOYMENT IN RAIDING

YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT THE GAME IS FALLING APART GIVEN HOW MANY LONG TIMERS HAVE QUIT BECAUSE THE CUP SYSTEM IS BROKEN, THE FARM SYSTEM IS BROKEN, AND THE GAMEPLAY IS BLAND BEYONF BELIEF

If you are farming, then chances are you barched or bamed anyway - or some variant with giants etc.

If you are a hunter, then you kinda need to use the stronger army to maintain / gain cups.

In both cases, I dont follow the logic that because you can upgrade a wall with elixir, you need to. You clearly dont. Unless you have maxed out your elixir upgrades, why would you slow down the upgrading of useful things like your army, for something not as important like your walls?? I am sitting on L10 / L11s and trust me, I will be the first to tell you that high level walls are not worth the effort. I do them cos i have nothing else to do!

I have almost exclusively used barchob because in terms of maxing out the game, it was the fastest way to do it, for me. It has never been economical to cook a power army, even when loot was phenomenal in sub 200 2yrs ago - you simply dont get back what you spend 90% of the time and even when you do, in the same time you would have made multiples of the profit had you used an army with a quicker build.

This has absolutely always been the case. If you like to play efficiently, then chances are you would not cook these strong armies because they are not the best way to make profit...

So again, I'm not sure what changed. If you raided with dragons before the update or if you want to today, you still can. They were never an economical choice BUT if you choose to upgrade a wall instead of cooking them, thats all your decision. Well done SC for giving you the option...

Before update there were two times I used a dragoon army:

1) war

2) I was logging off and my elixir was maxed or close to being. I then would revenge hit when I came back on. I then would back to my normal raiding army.

Okay, but given the momentum that the forum community has built up on this very emotive subject, why should we promote half a solution? Would it not be better to make SC address the true causes of poor loot across both gold and lix?

Believe me when i say this game is close to dying.

Other than clan wars, there has been little to nothing done to enhance the gameplay; sure there are defensive upgrades, walls and troop combinations and heroes etc. But you are really doing the same thing over and over and over again. Raiding revolves gold, elix, de or trophies.

Whatever initial appeal this game had when it was first released is now gone. We have farmed. We have pushed. We have made good base designs... and thats it

The current metagame has been done to death already and there is very little the community can do to improve it.

The expensive troop costs and training time is the final nail in the coffin. We cant use stronger armies to get deeper into stronger bases due to the cost and time, we cant practise with unusual troop combos because the troop training time is so ridiculously br0ken.

Im sorry but when even a basic barch army takes 20 or so minutes to train which equals 3 raids per hour not to mention a barch army isnt really that strong to use it just ruins the game for me.

The cup system is also quite messed up too btw. The loot bonuses mean squat and loot isnt really better at higher cups. high level farming is a major pain in the ♥♥♥♥ since we have to wait soo damn long to train troops since the defences are really hard ... absolutely ridiculous

There are better games out there mate. Just play summoners war and youll wish all the time you spent on coc could have been used to do something more productive

Why do people farm when they are not really getting anything out of it. Even when you do complete a very expensive upgrade you dont feel a sense of accomplishment you feel like you have just wasted your 4ckng time

FArming is like coming out of a long brutal fight, youve won but you have not gained anything other that bruised face and broken bones

I've gained a maxed out TH10 base excluding heroes and walls...I've lost the respect of my wife but that is another matter

Because we don't want a th10 with level 7 walls, but wait theres many of them trophy pushing with that setup and doesn't look like it's changing color anytime soon.

Btw what are you all trying to accomplish by farming so much

Does having a powerful virtual village help you in any sense? What do you do when you completely max your base then?

Do you gain any enjoyment searching for loot in the process or is it just a rush of adrenaline everytime you hit thag next button hoping to find something?

Jeez the game now is no different from a damn slot machine. Its unthinkable

Remove the village search (aka: Next) screen and replace it by a wack-a-mole sub-game.

It would help people who play at night not fall asleep while searching.
