No one can prove what the vast majority of players think and I make no attempt at guessing either. That would be incredible foolish.


However I can honestly say that the loot update in December 2013 benefited me. The reason is that it removed the loot bonus for attacking higher TH levels . As a premmie TH9 that was a huge change for me and enabled my progress. There are a lot of premmie bases out there and their progress would be extremely limited if that bonus remained.

I don't think that SC need to appease people either. They have designed a game in which, from what I understand of several months on the forum, they want people to attack storages aids and not barch collector bases. That's the game plan. They want you to attack another person that is playing the game not a quitter.

The question is not what will appease people.. but what is going to work for the game. You can't please everybody - people even complain about the one gem collector boosts that supercell have had.

And, finally, if you don't mean things in absolutes it is never much help to write in them. It is far better to propose a solution rather than just posting to slag SC off. If you have a balanced proposal that doesn't involve collector raids then post it pls. It will help move the thread along a lot faster.

I have farmed 20 million in gold in the last 3 days(boosted...I am not superhuman! ) .........and I still maintain LOOT SUCKS!!


And here is why.........


three days ago SC dumped a TON of inactives back in to stop the moaning about loot and THAT is where I got the gold.... I KNEW that this was a temporary fix and farmed as much as possible before it dried up. 90% of my attacks were on inactives because active players have dumped their lix into walls and if I keep attacking them I will run out.


As I anticipated it is dissappearing FAST as those bases get farmed out and drop.


Tonight the level of loot available has fallen sharply......and amount of 'nexts' has increased again.


I said this from before this update, and in many other places on this forum over the last few days..........allowing lix upgrades of walls below level 8 or 9 will cripple the game. I think it already has.

1PM Pacific Time, loot is good again. Not sure what happened, many big raids in our clan "No War"/

Since then, my farming base has twice been attacked seriously, lost $100K El each time. Feel like someone's tweaking the dials.

Loot is horrible and has been since update. My entire clan is having extreme trouble raiding. I've been spending over 100k gold regularly to not find a single target with over 100k gold. Haven't even seen an easy full pump raid since update. Even my most active raiders that typically do 150-200 raids a cycle can't find anything. Not sure why the update changed but this is by far the worst it has ever been. Please put the switch back to how it was. This is terrible.

Loot is terrible. Basically all I feel like doing is clan wars now. The game is utter garbage. The only looting regulating they do is adding inactive which is not even a fun way to play the game. What game depends on people NOT playing in order for it to be fun for others? If the game stays this way for another two weeks I'm just going to uninstall. Fortunately I didn't spend much money on gems.

When it gets fixed I'll be back. It would be a fulltime job barching bases as is.

lol this thread is so patronizing. There were some genuinely good posts that SC should have read in the last thread. Guess its proof once again that they truly do not care. Bad loot is good for them;)

apparently I'm starting to see the people that have quit this week. lots of unfilled xbows and infernos. this is at masters, people are quitting for real...

is this what this game is about? raiding people that already quit? what kind of business model is this? making people quit so others don't have to?
