Thank you for curing my addiction
Thank you COC for the elixir to wall update. It has cured my more than 1 year COC addiction. I used to play at least 6 hours a day and boost barracks, spells, heroes. I'm glad you had me go through this "Cold turkey" month here to make me realize really how much time I was wasting playing your game. It was really hard having to go through 1000's of nexts in my daily boosts finding way too little loot to make up for the elixir invested in my army/spells and gold invested in endless nexts. I'm also glad that I also see way less inactives now, so I don't get tempted to stay addicted. I'm also glad that it is not only heavy armies that are generally too expensive to farm with, but now with the introduction to barch lvl 7, the cost in elixir rose from about 60k for lvl 6 to about 80k for lvl7 and that really doesnt make barching more viable to farm elixir, since the amount of elixir haven't increased. Thank you also for making my clan close to dead, so I don't get tempted by them either to keep on playing. Thank you for introducing the loot patch december 2013, so I wouldnt be addicted to go for storages and focus more on inactives. Barching is just so much fun and filled with strategy.
After my obvious sarcasm has been switched off, here is a real thank you. Thank you for waiting to introduce this horrible idea until I was almost finished upgrading my village. Unboosted mines and collectors can fund the last upgrades in just a few weeks, except my heroes that will probably just stay forever young in their low 30's.
If only you you had solved the problem with overflowing elixir storages by making it usable for paying for nexts which would make perfect sense because it has do with attacking and had kept walls for gold only which also made sense, it being a defense.
