There is no loot problem at TH9 or lower, only TH10.

What are we discussing here? Shortage of loot in general or the decrease of elixir supply after the update? Those are not the same topics...

Lack of loot (mainly gold) has been quite prevalent for me long prior to the latest update. The decrease in elixir supply is obviously due to the latest update. Don't be defensive just for the sake of it: it's not about winning or losing an online argument.

sculls . . . . what about legos and lavas ??? you seem to be forgetting about the 250 million and the 750 million needed to complete townhall 9

I'm TH9 almost done with legos. Loot is ok for me. Loot for TH10 isn't very good.

lol

i went to th 10 a month before the last update
after completely maxing th9 all buildings all troops including dark (except walls 123 L9 127 L8)
and the loot was fine not much different from th9 ......... until the last update ... and then it dropped off drastically

i now spend alot longer searching for alot less loot from raids

I've heard the same from other TH10 in my clan, but it is fine for TH8-9.

As far as i know. The definition of loot is the anount of available resources; gold, elixir and dark elixir combined. I don't see how they are separate topics. This was always been in discussion. Lack of elixir means a reduction of ability to raid/farm freely, which translates to less gold for all of us. As for prior to the update, i never had a problem farming gold.

Never got defensive, i was only pinpointing how weak your argument with the mod's Stay Active factor towards of lack of loot issue that's being raised.

Everything else for me is done so I am only working on walls.
