Ok so you freely admit that you MAKE the game worse by becoming one of those 40 k/40 k/20 bases. Well ... at least you're not in denial over it. If everyone held onto SOME it wouldn't be nearly as bad.

Right on! I have NEVER complained on this forum about loot until this update..... And I have over a billion GG so I know about looting!



I must disagree....it IS from the update. Lix for walls from level 6 was the most ill thought out change SC EVER made. Level 7 walls cost only 200,000 so a player with very little surplus can dump into walls EVERY DAY leaving little lix to raid. If lix for walls applied to level 8 walls then AT least a million would have to be surplus before using for walls.

We cant keep raiding bases with low lix even if gold is OK....this is so blatantly obvious that I remain INCREDULOUS that supercell made this change.

Clash of Clans is an amazing product but whatever person, or people, agreed this particular change are morons.

I'm a fan of the change. It pained me to not raid before because elixir storage was full and I didn't want to waste elixir into thin air. One resource cannot go unbalanced to the point that people throw it away. That's not a good system.

That said ... I believe low level elixir collectors are the main reason elixir is so scarce. Look at your gold grab and elixir escapee achievements. Most are far heavier on gold. It's not just that people wanted gold more ( because elixir was close to useless) it's also because people maxed gold mines and not collectors. Also fluffy bunnies can't be taken out of the equation.

That all said ... It's complete garbage right now. Unless people sit on some resources like I currently am this will continue. And people won't sit on resources until they feel like they can get them back easily. As much as elixir is hard to find and gold is better gold is still not all that good.

Sorry....WHY in god's name would you not raid a base because your lix was full???.........I think perhaps you are thinking this digital stuff is REAL! LOL

I have wasted MILLIONS in lix and the promise to be able to use it in walls SOUNDED great... Didnt it? But I anticipated from the time it was announced that this was gonna be disastrous when it was level 6 walls and up.

I really hate being right but believe I am.

If they had made walls cost double what they cost in gold then MAYBE, or level 8 and up. Sifting away every 20000 spare lix leaves ONLY bases saving for lix upgrades with any lix.

For TH8s maybe....I am in a clan of 9s and 10s.....it is NOT great!

I think is about time flame and troll this forum till we get a proper answer about the loot.

As a th10 loot has been improving day by day. Its back to the point where loot is actually good late at night eastern us time, but loot is still on the low end during the day. Hoping the improvement continues.

Im also in that trophy zone and am facing similar problems. I find a 150k+ raid after 5-10 mins (which is really low tbh). Its hard to find loot... I push to master from gold 2 and when i come back the loot is gone -.- Ugh... how will I finish upgrading all of these archer towers to 11 :/

Loot is usually 1.5x worse for me on weekends, which is, to me, is not worth playing. Surprisingly, Clash of Clans is weaning me off my Clash of Clans addiction

Where's loot today? Popped up to M3 from C2 and it's dried up a bit. Might need to drop back to C1

So ... you predicted the shortage as you continued to raid with full elixir storages causing elixir to disappear out of the game? Wow. I didn't raid if my storage was full because I remember what it was like to look for elixir and constantly need it. If I found a high elixir low gold base I wouldn't attack. If I found a high gold low elixir base I would. And I'd spawn my troops away from the elixir which I didn't need yet others did. It's not about thinking it's real substance. It's about the FACT that someone else's NEED for elixir was VERY real. Think about what you're typing here ... you predicted a shortage of elixir while making elixir have no use within the game. Wow. Amazing.
