The fact is that you complete your elixir upgrades waaaaay faster than your gold ones yet the resources are supposed to be held in the same regard - ie gold and lix production is the same.
So, whilst walls now being upgraded with lix has impacted a number of players who got used to easy lix (I personally never raided for it and unless i wanted % would happily leave full storages / collectors before quitting a match), all it does is highlight an underlying issue with loot. What I mean by this is that the situation existed before the change. All the change did was expose the issue from an elxir perspective. Of course, gold has always had this issue and gold is also hard to acquire these days. That has nothing to do with the lix 4 walls change so I dont think there is any benefit complaining about that.
Ultimately, SC gave players like a me a purpose for elixir once again and that is a welcome thing in my book. Lets focus on the true root causes for poor loot if we want a sustainable fix...
