th9 should have gotten an extra set of collectors.

i am an ocasional gem buyer, in about 2 years of play i sank $200 into this game. . . . it takes somethign special for me to get out the debit card.
i personally raided more loot in the the 2 "golden hours" we got from the breaks with the boosted mines than in all the days after the update. i personally think they should do loot hours, where they reset the server to refresh inactive and then patch in a bonus.
not sure if it would help the ecomony as a whole, but it certainly bring a level of enjoyment to those who try to rain in the "loot hour"
Any news on how the monitoring of the situation is going SC?
Its been a solid 2 weeks now...
We have chewed through literally 100's of poor loot pages within goodness knows how many threads...
Monitor or dont monitor, the fact is that for a large proportion of people, loot is worse than they'd like and some find it hard to break even vs cost of army / cost of next.
I am making profit, slowly...but I am atypical and am able to play almost as much as I like. If I was confined to an hour a day across 4 raids then I could easily end up at the end of the day with less loot than I started - especially if I needed to raid during the hours of doom which appear to be between 12pm GMT and 11pm GMT. Between those times you are as likely to make a net loss on the raid than you are to make a profit..."Find a match" is an unnecessary gamble - will you find a raid worth taking before you need to go do something else in your real life...will you make a profit...will you make a loss...tune in in 20 minutes to find out!! Next Next Next Next Grrrr.
I think its time for less monitoring and more action. Give us the benefit of the doubt and do something to alter the economy even if your "monitoring" has concluded nought so far.
Ideas...again...
- Next fee. If you do need to tax us like this - I assume there is a valuable point - then perhaps find a way to return some of it to the attacker for a successful raid. Trust me, no one skips 200 times because they are looking for a 400k raid, they do it because they are avoiding 20k raids!
- Improve loot bonuses
- Introduce loot multipliers after an update to offset the drain we all know exists (it is too common for you to cite as a reason for poor loot - thats like a local council saying the reason you are all crashing your cars is because its very cold and the roads are frozen. It happens every January. Maybe try and drive less...until some bright spark pipes up and suggests that because this is a regular thing, maybe they should grit the road surfaces during the cold periods...ooo, give that wo/man a gold star for thinking outside the box...i digress)
I know these ideas are a bit lame...I have given better ones in the past but frankly I dont think you read them any-more - the thread is too big and the number of posts on this topic are too vast - I'm thinking you know there is an issue and you just ignore the threads for the most part until you are ready to do something about it (probably already determined - series of 1 gem boosts and a pumpkin bomb during Halloween!!
To be honest, I use the forum as a place to vent when I am sexting...I mean nexting...maybe I should be sexting!! Sounds fun!!
Loot is terrible bad today ... and i have doubts it will change in the next couple of days
two searches with more than 250+ next in a row. I'm sick and bored of next next next next and there is still no answer by supercell. At the moment i have the feeling they completely ignoring their players and don't care about the demands of the CoC Community.
It was fun to farm for 2-3hours in the evening but for now it is not fun anymore.
All i can say right now: R.I.P. CoC (sad, but it's the truth).

Follow-up question:
If you were a business-owner providing a service free of charge and I'd be making use of that service for a prolonged period of time without (hardly) spending any money on supporting that business, would you think I'd be entitled to complain about your service?
Before this dry loot situation, I would raid at least 30 times a day. Lately i've been raiding maybe 10 times a day. With the free time, I'm trying some other games. Trying out Star Wars to see how that plays. I'll come back to CoC to check on it now and then to see if loot improves. But nexting a hundred times is so boring. Spend more time nexting than doing anything in the game. What's the fun in pressing the next button?
