Number 1. 160k loot is not good. You have been brainwashed to thinking playing hours straight raiding loot poor bases is the norm. I feel sorry for you as you never played when loot was great in both storages AND collectors. You used to be able to raid both and be profitable.

Number 2. Loot for th9 and lower is 2-4 times better then it is for th10s

Number 3. You give no information about this magical loot bonanza. What th level are you? Where is the 160k elixir loot located at? How many nexts are you hitting to find this treasure trove? Is it In storages or off inactives in their collectors? You understand that exclusively inactive collector looting is both unsustainable and goes against the entire point of upgrading your base and troops to get to storages right?

Number 4. The major concern is lack of elixir more so then gold.

Posts like your and others like it add little to the conversation, there is no pretext and we can only guess at what you have found and how accurate it is. Anyone less then th9 can find collector bases nearly at will. Th 9 have almost as good of loot available to them. Townhall 10s is a deserted wasteland of loot poor bases.

Evidently the pink elephant is the elixir option in upgrading walls. We already know by upgrading walls it is a resource sink. Initially with only gold being the option, it allowed too much elixir to accumulate (after troops were upgraded). This is not exactly a bad thing since that extra elixir can be raided and 'shared' amongst the players and allow it to circulate within the economy. By providing the option for elixir to be used upgrading walls it breaks the natural chain of resource distribution / circulation. People may say the same about gold but what many did not realize (before the update) is how much more elixir is used cumulatively when playing (Troop, Spells, Troop upgrade, Clan Wars, Donations, Barracks costs, defense ammo). Gold is just for upgrading defenses, nexting and re-arming traps so it made sense to let it also upgrade walls back then. In a nutshell, elixir is the life blood of this game, allowing it to be used in a resource sink (walls) is an extreme way to deplete a form of resource which was once overly abundant (for benefit of game economy).

Obviously trying to reverse this may not be an option but I would propose allowing elixir the option to upgrade walls only if the players storage has 50 % (TH10) 75% (Th9) 75% (Th8) somewhere along those lines (some one who can crunch the numbers help me out here) so that it always has to surpass the cap. This in turn will still provide storages worth raiding and thus everyone has a chance to make a profit and will see a lot more available loot in each base when searching bases.

I can't find much in my main account. I'm using balloonion up in high C1 and loot is inconsistent. One day i don't even bother raiding, so i go for trophies. The next day i'll find dead base after dead base. Today, so far, I've done 5 raids, 2 of which were war raids (Got 5 stars without my queen woohoo gowiwipe on good th9s). Out of my 3 multiplayer raids, I got 1 dead-ish base and 2 storage bases. One of my storage bases i got 250k each with 2.5k de, but had to use 3 spells.
On my other storage base, i went for de only saving for lvl 20 queen. I got 3k from a th9 ringus base (took all 4 spells, dang you cc wizards!). The dead base only offered 200k each with 1k de. I got fed up with nexting so I went for it.

Now onto Glarb, my mini account (I come up with the names, huh). It is a maxed th8 (all skulls, lvl 9 bk), and down in gold 3 loot is great. The town hall upgrade to th9 finishes in 12 hours. The downside is that my de saving up for queen keeps getting raided! These darn th9s with their maxed giants and archer queen keep getting 250k each with 1.8k de off of me! I had 37k de yesterday, and today, after doing 2 th8 gowipes, and getting raided, im down to 32k. I will most likely boost rax tonight and barch up to C3 where clanmates of mine in ThePlague are finding tons of dead bases with de.

The loot is sooooo bad that my days of boosting and having a good farm is over...im honestly just grateful to have had 2 yrs of the game being worth playing and spending money on.....

now my heroes i worked hard on are worth nothing
my walls i worked hard on are worth nothing
most of what i have upgraded are now cheaper for newbies

im pretty close to quiting the game. I know SC have to make changes and make money, but i feel they are just getting greedy and i am simply not enjoying the game at all lately.

plus making me work so hard for heroes and then making them a barbie doll is just silly. But yet making them strong down low and easy to get for noobs is even more annoying after i have spent yrs on mine!


EDIT: oh i do still boost after a maintenance cos happy hr after is great when not many ppl on....so if you have a maintenance break every night that will make me start boosting again lol

160K/160K loot is fine for barching. If you're expecting 300K/300K+ per raid then you're going to be unhappy (or nexting), a LOT.

Once again, App Squad comes to you with a gnarly video with some Town Hall 8 raids with 600K Loot! :cool:

Gold 2 loot has always sucked though. I always hate trudging through the wasteland that is G2 to move between G3 and G1.
