Exploding Decorations

I have an idea for the Statue of P.E.K.K.A. and Ancient Skull. Maybe Supercell give them hitpoints and make them targets that can be attacked in a raid by units. However, when destroyed they explode and either do a ton of damage like an Uber-Giant Bomb, or they gift the attacker a large amount of loot (preferably Dark Elixir).

The explosion is always random, so you never know if it will take out all the troops around it or if you can get a nice reward. Thoughts?

If it gives the attacker loot and not the defender, why would I wanna get it? Just to hope someone who i i attack has it?

As a defender would you say no to an extra giant bomb? As an attacker would you take the risk to attack a structure that can either give you a loot bonus or take out the surrounding troops?

Very unique idea, sounds good but some will undoubtably post flaws. One of the most original ides I've seen in a while.

So I stick my pekka statue right beside my town hall. The attackers troops get to the middle and target the statue instead of the TH it explodes in their face, ruining their attack. Although I would be happy, they would come to the forums and rage.

I really do not think Supercell would want the success of attackers to be pure chance, whether it's a bomb or a loot reward.

Although an incredibly original idea, which I applaud you for, I don't think this will ever be in the game.

I do not mean it should be overpowered with massive amounts of damage. Perhaps close to the same amount as 2x giant bombs.

People come to the forums and rage all the time "no loot no loot no loot" "unfair war matchup" etc etc. They will keep coming. I just don't see why this would be much different from getting destroyed by Giant Bombs around the TH. Only this time you can see the Statue and know about the risk/reward.

The thing, in my opinion, that makes it different is that it would take time to target. In high level raiding, every second your troops are near that townhall is vital and precious, so if they have to waste time destroying the statue, only to then be hit by "Double giant bomb" force, while also getting pelted by xbows and infernos would surely ruin a raid, dont you think?

Another difference is it is fairly easy to spot and destroy/avoid Double GBs, with the statue there is no way around it.

I think the game is pretty solid without "double uber bunker busting super ultra mega nuke bombs that explode in showers of dark elixir randomly". Thanks anyway though.
