I would use : 2 lava hounds + 22 loons + 25 minions + 2rage/2 healing (or 3 rage/1healing)
+extra loons in CC

And here is th9 combo:
Army: 2 Lava Hound, about 22 loons, 25 minions
Spell: 3 rage + 1 heal or 2 rage + 2 heal
CC troops: all loons or 1 golem or 2 witch, 1 wiz, 2 barb. Depend on enemy base :)

Thanks for replying :) My clan is "Flying Funk". We do alot of wars! ;) My IGN is the same as it is here (and basically in every game i play :D) I just upgraded to th10 so my base is a mess atm. Building infernoes and xbows in my th9 design base.

I'll i have left to upgrade is troops, Heros, walls and traps :) Gonna get all Lvl 9 walls and Max my golems for th 10 get Lvl 20 Heros (at least) then decide if I wanna upgrade to th 10 might just stay at th 9 till I either max it or a loot improvement is added to the game! Also been trying 26 loons 1 hound 20 minions (2 hogs for luring and 10 archers for dragons) and whatever in my CC, 3 heals and 1 rage! Been 3 starring TH 9s with some pretty solid defenses I think the 1 hound is enough to let you keep the rage and heals till later on in the attack! Once I get the strat down I'll try hit th 10s! :)

Hahaha pro maybe one day but I don't know about soon! 😂 BaLavion attacks are going well im gonna use it for the next few weeks till I get it down fully! Haven't lost a raid yet 3 stars are pretty common occassional 1/2 star!

I think we won by three stars, as usual (last war we won by only 1 star, it was killing everybody). I usually do gowiwi, but gowiwi can be boring, especially when you do it again and again and again, considering we war constantly :/ (gowiwi is more de-hungry too, not that it matters much, but any de saved is saved!)

nah it's a simple war clan (not the one in my signature) with a mixture of th 10, 9 and 8, mostly TH 9s. TH 10s do gowiwi, TH 9 do gowipe, dragons or pigs, TH 8 do dragons. Is anyone using loons/lava similar to HOLOWIWI attacks?

TH9 ARMY: 32 balloons, 1 lava hound (lvl 2), 30 minions.

I basically just use it the same way for HOLOWIWI.
1. Use loons to break the hog ring and snipe outside towers.
2. Then just spam left over Balloons + LavaHound in the core instead of hogs.

3 starred tsunami, baconmakers, ringus and a few other common bases using this method, will continue to experiment more.

It sound your clan is very interested in with many good players. I think your clan is a family like my clan :)

I don't have a video, but I went with an army composition of 2 hounds, 24 balloons, 20 minions, and a clan castle full of minions (another 15). My spells were 1 lightning for cc troops, 2 rage, and 1 heal.

That worked great for me.

Yes, I got three stars in war. My air troops are maxed out for TH9, but the 15 clan castle minions were a mix of level 2 & 4. I'll get more play out of this setup tomorrow and report back.

Looking for bases which good for air troops? Some below things is good for air troops:
- Ground xbows mode
- Air defenses is nearby outside
- Air defenses/infernos close together enough for freeze spell
- Air defenses position is far away from each

I replied in your other (vodka) thread to ask how you would approach upgrading your th10 troops? I know you like dragon and freeze until heroes max out. I am also seeking opinions for other lavalooners would reapproach their upgrades.

Lava Loonian is very great combo, sometime u can make amazing 3-star on strong th10 base. Yes, u should max Lava Loonian, and use them in clan wars. I've a playlist about using Lava Loonian in clan wars, watch & try it: Lava Loonian tactic. Hope it help :)

Near max Th9. I didn't have King and his Queen was down, though based on her placement I could have used my Queen and leftover Minions to take care of her.

After hounds were nerfed though i wonder how this is going to affect the strategy! i use 24 loons and 4 hounds (looons in CC) and 3 rage 2 freeze! i proudly got a 3 star against a th10 myself! after the nerf though i wasnt performing that well! (i think the nerf dropped either the dmg or healthpoints of the lavapups down? not sure really) maybe it is just my imagination that lavahounds got weaker and maybe this dropped my performance.. who knows! anyway excellent replays i am going to study them when i get the time!
