When we do an attack through multiplayer, if there is a gem box in the enemy town, it would be nice to send a goblin to be able to steal their gem box.

I could go to the lower leagues and find inactives/less frequent players and make bank from their gem boxes. I dont think SC would ever allow you to steal other player's gems as they are very valuable.

i agree that the gem boxes are extremely valuable, however I believe that's what would make the theft opportunity so great. Inactivity should cost people their bonuses.

The issue with this idea isn't being punished for being inactive. The issue is that I can get too many free gems by exploiting a flaw in the system.Quote:

I realize this may seem appealing at first glance but you have to realize all the flaws in this idea, what if someone gets a gem box and someone else steals it before they even have a chance to collect it, what about people who are active and have all their builders busy? do you expect them to spend gems to free up a builder just so that they can collect the 25 in the box? for that matter gem boxes are also a randomly appearing stationary structure, the only way to defend against people stealing them would be to rearrange your entire base every time one pops up. Gems are paid for with real money, it is the only way in which supercell makes a profit off of this game, this would make paying for gems pointless, you could just farm them from inactive bases and get however many you want.Quote:

This would also make the game too easy. As I said, you can park yourselves at lower leagues and make bank from inactives/less actives or people who dont even know what a Gem box is. This would create copious amounts of frustration and outrage in the CoC community. I dont want to have to place a Cannon on the outskirts of my village incase a gem box pops out there so no one steals it.

This is OP but maybe they could have the gem box and if you steal from it, it only gives one gem. None are stolen from their actual gem box though.

No they are a PREMIUM resource. They arent like any other resource. Gems are used to boost building projects. Again, this would cause outrage in the CoC community.Quote:
