Rewarding for good ideas?

I think its fair if SC says uses someones idea they should reward that person. It doesn't have to be a huge reward like 25000000000000000000000000 elxir but like 25 gems. If they are rewarded they will feel important and keep coming up with ideas. It's a win win for everyone. SC gets the new idea and keeps gamers happy and gamers will feel important and keep coming up with ideas

He meant 25,000.. Surely not 25 gems for an idea they didn't come up that they would use in the game that affects each and every single (active) Clash of Clans player.

That wouldn't be our problem, if SC uses an idea it would be their responsibility to notify that person (which posted it) and give them the reward.

I image threads titled:

"OMG SUPERCELL YOU DIDNT GIVE ME GEMS FOR MY IDEA"

And inside, it'll be like this:

"OMG SUPERCELL, I came up with the idea, and you used it but you still didn't give me gems! Why did *insert other person* get the gems, when I came up with the idea first!!!!1111oneoneone"

It'll be like the loot threads, but more annoying.

You can tell by the time and date each thread/post is posted? Or as soon as they see an idea they like, they could sticky it. If it was not the original thread and someone links an older thread with the same idea, then they would get it.

As others have said, there is no way of knowing who's idea it was.
For example, who came up with the idea of clan wars first? It has been posted here since the beginning of time, and many many people have come up with the idea 'on their own' not knowing that many others have had the same idea.

Also, there are often many variations of the same idea. Goblin king for instance. Each contain different stats and abilities, so there would be many people claiming the rights to that one if it were ever implemented.

People would also spam the forums (well, even more) with the same idea and also totally random ideas just to cover their bases too
