A common problem in our clan during a war is people coming from the opposing clan, or perhaps a second account of theirs, to join our clan and scout our war bases. Then they get to see what's in your cc, where traps and teslas are. A simple solution: Have any clan member with the 'new' flag not be able to see traps, teslas, or other peoples war cc troops. That way we can accept people even during a war and not have to worry about spies.
Ok, I see your problem and I've never thought of that. I do partially agree though.
I see why people want this, but I feel that the best solution is just temporarily closing your clan.
It's not the best for people who wants to keep recruiting/non stop war clans. Invite only still has problem with creating paranoia especially for less organized clans where elders might accidentally accept people or even if it wasn't accident, other people who didn't see that wouldn't know who that random new person isQuote:

While this is a good suggestion I wholeheartedly believe that it should be up to the leaders to stay on top of who is in their clan. If you let a spy in that's your own fault for lacking the vigilance and initiative to prevent such an occurance.
I agree with Brenn we had the same problem so we close the clan from search to ended

3) View the clan profile page and snapshot their member names, note especially those in spectator mode. (Find them via search instead of enemy clan tab to do this)
4) Not caring. Invite them in, let them to have their fun. Talk smack, and then cream them in the war.
