Ive been at 1400 1500 1600 1700 today and there's nothing . Don't even bring up the loot bonus because that's trash . Honestly it's no difference and It looks like the same thing before the last update . U dont even get 20k at 2399 trophies hahah . It only benefits the top players in which they don't even need it because they gem their resources and unlike us farmers we don't need a bonus since we are farming and we don't buy gems
Every time they change something your guys complain. Just be quiet or make your own game. And your th9 you have two xbow. Quit complaining please
I have 2xbow what does that have to do with loot?. I'm complaining about the lack of loot. Whether I have 2xbows or 20xbows I'm not going to find any loot

Th9, if your a good player, is pretty hard to beat with two xbow, so you shouldn't be losing much loot unless your set up is no good. I'm finding plenty of loot and I'm not losing any of it
Ive been through a few updates, its different now, and I'm TH8. lv 64, 85% max.
Ok here's the problem. If I'm at 5million and no one can get anything from me how can I go up. If there's no loot? Lets say i want to get to 6million before the day ends. No one ever even manages to steal from me but like I said I can get more loot because theres nothing imma try to go to 1700 trophies

i feel your pain! The night before the update playing this game was one of the small joys in my life. I really, really enjoyed it! After the update, it has been an exercise in frustration! I spend more than I can loot in gold trying to find someone worth raiding. I'm a lvl 78 th9.

I have to say that this is the first time that I have actually agreed with the complaints that some people have for this game! I have had no objections with any of the changes be it a nerf or a buff but I have to say that the amount of loot out there for th9 is pretty pathetic! I know that SC want people to go for trophies and use the bonus as the income but spending 100k gold to skip through bases that have no more than 50k to raid when before I was able to get 150-300k raids without an issue. I personally think that for people that can't afford gems but that are th9 and wanting to mx out their base so that they can survive the higher trophy levels are getting really frustrated and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off that they cannot find a scrap of gold anywhere.
Just my opinion and I am sure it is shared by others. I am not going to say that it should be reversed or that we should get super high buffs I just think that the update is a step in the right direction there just needs to be some fine tuning.
I started keeping score of my daily net loot a few weeks ago, just out of curiosity... Here's what I've personally seen:
1. Pre Update: Looting average net gold of 3M/day in the 1950-2100 trophy range.
2. Post Update: Looted total net gold of just over 12.5M in the 2000-2200 trophy range. Average of 2.77M/day, given that its been about 4.5 days since the update.
The above numbers take into account loot stolen from being attacked, as well as the new league bonus.
I'm a TH9, using max lvl troops that cost 79,600 elixir (giants/breakers/barbs/goblins/archers).
Given that my playstyle hasn't changed, I don't see that there is any problem with looting...
I've felt the irritation of poor loot from raid for awhile. I admit I jumped to TH 9 too quickly, and didnt know much about farming back then. I just saw all the extra stuff that came with th9 and jumped at it With only mid range defenses and L5 walls. That was back in late January. The loot was pretty good (not close to Th7 good) and I was slowly lvling my defenses and then....the penalties where put in. It's been a grind since then, putting in alot more time to get a good raid, but still it was manageable. With the recent update, it has dried up a bit more. The first few days i was lucky to get a decent base that I could at least break even on the gold spent searching. Yesterday was horrible and I shared the same feeling as the OP. today I have been finding better and better bases, and looks like some inactives are cycling through again.
I have been hanging out in the 1900-2100 cup range lately. Alots shifting around, and bases vary widely in defenses, but as it calming down I'm starting to think the 1800-2000 range may become the new TH9 sweet spot. Anyway, here's a pic of one of the four raids in a row that where over 400k. Unfortunately, my troop mix was set up for cups making the profit smaller. I just kept running into bases like this. I'm hoping this trend continues.

Ok it's not my best ever raid but in my defence I was demonstrating how the jump spell works rather than going all out for gold.

It's nearly impossible for me to find anyone to raid that isn't an impenetrable, gem-powered super-fortress of death at TH9. I spend 75-100k searching for a village to raid, and the only ones that have more than 100k resources in them are the gemmed-up bases I mentioned a second ago, and the others contain a pitiful 20-30k gold/elixer. It costs me dozens of thousands of gold to find a base, and it costs me around 50k to train my troops for one raid. These days, I'm lucky to break even after a raid. I can't play like this. I really wish that SC would listen to their players' please, as I've bought a number of gems in my day, and am therefore a paying customer. The old saying still goes: "the customer is always right."

Here I show it took 22 searches before I found one base with 100/100K - just over, let alone a 200/200 which I was getting every few searches pre-update. And as you can see, I need goldz!!
No idea why it goes a bit jumpy at around 27 seconds, used AirServer + Fraps to record.
Been playing since August 2012 and this the worst update so far. I can't locate enough resources when attacking. When I do, the opponent is usually so gemed out with everything maxed that I won't even consider attacking him even with 3 spells and a barb king, queen and all my level 6 troops. I'm not using pekkas or dragons because they cost too much to have a positive gain from an attack. You guys have changed the game play so many times, it's a different game every time you make an update. Be smart and correct your recent mistake by giving significantly greater bonuses. That should fix the issue.
It's even worse for me. I've literally spent 115k just now, trying to find a base. I'm still pressing "Next" as I type this, losing 750 gold to be shown a base with 10k resources to raid.Quote:

First off thank you Daddy for a couple responses on a few threads I've read, with your recent promotion your in a tough spot. Anyways just wondering why there hasnt been any official communication from supercell. Even something like "thank you for you're feedback we are currently looking at the loot situation". That doesn't necassarily mean that somethings wrong admiting you're looking into an issue that seems pretty rampant on facebook and the forums. I'm still enjoying the game but as TH9 upgrades will take longer for sure. Anyways hoping for a response and if ones been posted appologies on not reading and please direct me there.

Okay folks, if you haven't put your tin foil hats on already then now would be a good time to do so. We all know that loot becomes scarce after an update but things have become fundamentally worse. The ability to farm effectively as a TH9 has been reduced, you can still farm but nowhere to the same degree we did prior to the patch. Which leaves the player 2 options, either continue to farm and take significantly longer to save up for that upgrade or gem your resources. Because let's be honest this game is purely pay to win. For me personally I would rather the option of an in game gem store (which we have) and/or a monthly subscription to play to avoid being penalized. Because one way or another if you want to play SC will make you pay.
Lets hope these are the ramblings of an over active imagination given to paranoid delusion and not the makings of a brilliant marketing strategy to increase revenue under the guise of protecting new and lower level players.
Obviously that's the case, I think most people here know that. Free players/low-paying players aren't SC's top priority, the ones that spend $300 per day on CoC are. However, we've still got a voice, and we're all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off, so we're doing what we can by posting here, hoping we can get results.Quote:

Your absolutely right, I think if you play the game for fun TH 7 is the place to be. You get the most enjoyment out of the game at that level, you can raid every 20 min and there are plenty of resources to be had.Quote:

Totally agree!!! Its already so hard to find a target with loot that covers your army and is worth attacking. Then when you do find one, their base are so maxed out that there's no chance of winning or getting res. I too have lvl 6 troops , burger king and drama queen, and dont use pekkas or dragons. Those "low lvl" troops dont last long against xbows, lvl 7 mortars and lvl 7 wiz towers. now with an extra wiz tower, wow! real game changer. I predict once more people upgrade their towers to lvl 7 (mortars and wiz towers) going to be lots of people complaining that they can't get res when attacking.Quote:

Yep sometimes it's sometimes tough I agree. But on this subject i'm talking as another player in the game - i'm not defending something I don't agree with. But I'm just not seeing the issue that you guys clearly are - maybe i'm just the luckiest guy in the game but. I woke up to my usual overnight balloon army an hour ago, used 20 to take 180:180 within 10 cycles, then took another 100k gold in pretty much the same.

You don't have an enormous loot penalty on almost everyone you raid, however. On anyone lower than a level 9 TH, we have a huge penalty that just gets worse the lower an enemy's TH gets. The only level we don't have a penalty on is 9, and about 90% of the time those bases are impenetrable.Quote:

Evereyone who is complaining these days are just a noobs who prematurely got to TH9 or have no skills or good army to take down TH8 base (its only 10% penalty) or even TH9.

I am at level 9 and can't find resources either, I made a post about it as well and have posted screen shots on the facebook page showing searches with 300 elixer not 300k 300.I feel the same way the game was fun but is now too much of a struggle to find resources to even feel like playing.
I also had trolls jump on my post too saying nothing is wrong and was my lack of skill and other nonsense.
Having a good city doesn't help you get resources in raids why are people even bringing up the xbow? they cost 3m gold and 6m to upgrade the only way to get that is by spending money on gems.
The last update has killed the game and I think I will quit if it doesn't get fixed soon because the game is no fun like this.
You obviously rushed to TH9 (no lvl6 army camps) and have weak troops to beat decent bases.
But there are many other people who did the same thing and I think that they are the ones who start these silly threads, how game is bad and things like that.
You ruined your game by rushing to TH9 not SC.
Read some of the million tips guys posted on the forums for premature TH9-ers or do that thing with collectors that everyone is talking about.
If you're just seeing level 6 and 7 town halls, you're probably pretty low in the trophy count.Quote:

I watch many videos on YT from some of the members of this forum, new videos of course post-update. They have TH9 and most of them you can see when they look for bases too.

Just looking at people who post videos, or people who talk about their loot in your clan, is in no way an indicator of how the overall amount of people raiding are fairing with their luck. Your clan mates might just be having very good luck, or might not be raiding as much as others do, or they might practice black magic. All I know is that I, and everyone else who has posted about it, which I have seen to be many, many people, are having a lot of problems finding matches after the recent update. Take into account all of the people who don't post about their problems on the internet, and you have a lot of people who aren't having a great time, just like I am not.Quote:

I am not enjoying the game post update.. They (Supercel) definately changed something. It's not much fun at this point. The guy just streamed his search on ~1450 trophies. He is TH9
Out off 20 clicks he found 5-6 bases with 150+ loot available.Last one 300k gold and almost 200k elixir.
Not many people have a problem finding loot, but those who do, create threads and complain about non existing problems.

Daddy, with so many ppl complaining about loot inavailability, I think we should acknowledge that there indeed IS a problem. We have so many threads dedicated to this, and trust me, people would rather be gaming than taking the initiative to write on what they see as a problem in the game.Quote:

I play a lot, I've played through many upgrades, and I tell you, I am finding it extremely frustrating to play like I used to. This should be taken a look as a bug/problem rather than complaining/whining in my humble opinion.
In my analysis, here are some points which may help categorise who are more likely facing issues:
1) highly active farmers who play over a wide period of time.
2) Those playing on selected time zones?
3) People who are between new to mid-level TH9 progressing either naturally via farming or gemmed their way prematurely, hence certain towns at 1400 cups with purple to black walls and lvl3 xbows are not options for raiding. Certainly, they may have 200K gold to loot, but itsn't accessible yet for some of us.
We need your help daddy. Help us out. Speak to Supercell and get us heard. I think that's about all I can ask for really.

Well written! I agree with everything you have written. The time zone thing is especially huge because I cannot find good matches during the day eastern time. The only time I can find good matches are between 12am-6am eastern and honestly if I didn't work at night I would have quit this game post update because of the frustration.Quote:

Actually, I bought gem once as a token gesture cos I enjoyed the game so much early on. I used it to buy my fifth builders hut. I was planning to gem at some point in the future again once I have my TH9 better upgraded. I'm holding off that plan now based on this experience. Whatever they planned didn't work for me. :)Quote:

I wouldn't say that there has necessarily been a change in the matchmaking. I'd say it is more likely some perfect storm of update chaos and new player behavior stemming from the leagues. That's just my opinion.Quote:

I personally like your cooking videos ... a gentle reminder that there IS life outside of my ipad :D It was refreshing! I also love that you use troops that most others don't. Always wanted to see you using minions/hog riders to compliment your balloons as that combination completely negate walls. Especially now with more air defenses, I'm curious to see if they'd be a good combination (hog riders to kills AD, minions to clean up, baloons for anti-defenses).
