Sure they can. They can just take the tricks that they did to limit loot (I.E. not letting inactive bases come up and a few other things like that they did) and not do them.


I agree I am seeing a lot of friends leave the game because of this. I know a lot of guys that have gravitated to other games now trying to entice me to come with them. (But I am trying to hang in there in the hope they fix a few things) And they were all die hard coc'rs before they nerfed the loot. (Plus adding/forcing war with no opt in/out choice has chased away a lot of folks)

I agree. Why use elixir for walls. If they wanted to let people do walls faster why not just increase the gold mines. Ya that would allow people to do more upgrades faster but who cares. I don't think anyone would complain about that. Now elixir still can be looted and people can keep attacking. Was that so hard.

I am actually ok with the walls thing. The surge of that right now is because of all the guys behind on their walls (not the most exciting upgrade so heavily procrastinated) but as they all get caught up that phenomenon will decrease.

The issue is the other things they did to nerf loot. The inactive bases didn't carry anyone, you still had to work hard to get ahead in the games big picture, but they did make a difference between just having to work hard or being against an impossible task. They should have just left that alone.

And had they not had the permanent loot nerf in place the extra temporary dip coming from the walls thing would not have caused such an uproar.

The same way we have gas shortages when everyone goes to the pump at the same time before a hurricane. IT WILL BE FINE IN A WEEK. In the meantime, I am actually managing to get some real-life work done!

Take note SuperCell like the thread says! This is ridiculous and killing the game! We want to progress in the game not be stagnant in the game! What is the point in playing if you cannot progress!!!!!!! You are going to lose money with people leaving the game!!!! #bringthelootback

Maybe I have not felt the same effects of the update like some of the other players that are complaining about it. Personally, I like the update. As another poster stated, it is about managing your resources (like you would your money in real life). I have found good loot bases and I am currently at G3. Some are good, some are bad...and some days are just better than others when it comes to raiding.

Yes, some times I have to blow a lot of gold before I find a base that will recoup my costs for searching and my army. Other times, I am able to find one shortly after trying to find an opponent. Overall, I am happy with this update (although I have upgraded my walls with elixir yet because I have other things to consume it that are of higher importance.)

There is no loot available my brothers .I had never calculated troops for elexar but now my giant seems costly for me and do not want war any more game became very boring and next button is key to get more elexar and now attacking lower town hall to get and lowered my trophies from gold to silver. Supercell what happen if there is no elexar for troops one day what will you do then. Execess elexar are now the walls and mines cant do the good job.

I think your prediction will be wrong.

Looting elixir is still possible. Though it become much not frequent as before but it is still possible. There are some players who will spend their elixir to upgrade their walls but there are also who are saving up to upgrade others, i.e. troops, camp,barracks.
Also during loot try using barbchers. That way you always got an additional elixirs after a loot.
Also just try searching, my clanmates and i are still seeing 200k to 500k, but again less frequent. Of before it was 1/20 or 30. Now it might take you 50 to 100, depends on your luck.
Last, im still able to loot inactive players. Getting 300k from their collectors and mines alone.
