Would you buy gems if you got more for your money?
After joining several clans during my upbringing on clash of clans, there has always been a discussion that couldn't really be settled. That was gems - whether the quantity or price, most people seemed to be against it, despite points being explained to counter. I would first of all like to say, personally, I rarely buy gems. Why? I don't like spending a copious amount of money on a game on a mobile device. I like to buy games for gaming consoles. If someone spends enough time on clash of clans to consider it something they should invest into then they have every right to.
Should Supercell really make such a profit (as much as $750,000 a day based from the New York Times before Christmas) from a green animation that cost nothing for them to produce? Yes. If you're one of those who complain - they produced a game for you. A game you like to play -whether or not you have a problem with them making so much by selling gems, that's pretty much the focal point which concerns you. They have every right to charge for gems which aid progression.
I enjoy clash of clans - so much I am using the forums (which I have regret not using until now since they help) and so are you. I can ask though, would you buy gems if you got more gems for the price? I think what disconcerts people is paying £3/$5 or whatever for 500 gems which will get you through a 2 day upgrade at best.
I'm looking forward to hearing opinions.
